To calculate infusion time, you need to know three variables, the total infusion volume (ml), the number of drops per minute (drops per minute), and the drop coefficient (drops per ml). The formula is as follows: infusion time (min) = total infusion volume (ml) × drop coefficient (drops/ml)/number of liquid drops per minute (drops/min).
