  • Fantastic!!

Best app I hunk I have come across so far! The monsters make their phonic sound as you move them. Then say which letter they are as they lock into place, so this teaches both! Then has a funny animated description of the word meaning. Word choices are a little more unusual than just the same words they hear in all first words so great to expand their vocabulary as well! Just a brilliant and well thought out app!

  • One of the best free kids apps ever if not the best

Fantastic app, my 3 year old son loves playing it and doesn't get bored with it as he does with other educational apps we've downloaded. Can't rate it highly enough. Love the graphics and the sounds and look of it etc, well just about everything! Amazing how it helps them to learn so much quicker when they are enjoying it. Thank you so much!

  • Brilliant!

I can not recommend this app enough! My son is 2 and he loves this app he'll sit for ages going though all the words (although he does have his favourites, thanks to the splendid animation) even over the last week of using the app his letter recognition and being about to sound each letter has improved vastly!! Really don't understand how you can go away with app for free! You guys need to make a numbers app!

  • Top quality app for kids....

This is a great learning tool !,
It is extremely easy to get to grips with, with some very clever little touches to help children to learn their letters.
The app looks amazing, sounds fantastic, is colourful, intuitive, funny, and quite simply brilliant.
We cannot recommend this highly enough (and we are very fussy parents when it comes to educational tools).

Essentially, you pick a word which is then broken into its letters. You have to drag and drop the letters into their correct place (with outlines to assist). As you drag each letter you hear it's sound.
Once you have placed all the letters correctly there is a short animation and voice over explanation of the word.
You can repeat the word, or move on to another.

Our two under 5's love it.

Would also be very useful for anyone learning English as a second language.

  • Odour odor

As we live in England, we were impressed to see the update that has "z" pronounced as "zed" as well as the option to have the "zee".

I think it can be developed further with words such as "odor" having the English option of "odour" as my four year old is enjoying this app so much and remembering her spellings really well and schools here in England recognise the second option.

Many thanks again to the developers, what a fantastic idea! Fun, fast and really educational.

  • A must have!

Simply amazing app that any parent should have for their kids. My 3yo boy has been learning to read with help from this app. Well made, very educational, and the kids love it. Well done.
  • Love it!!

My three kids all love it 3 yrs, 10 yrs and 13 yrs. it always makes us laugh and the words are intelligent. Great for vocabulary building.
  • Well thought out and a great concept

This is a rather good app. Shape recognition for letters, basic phonics and all wrapped up in a very appealing graphic package. Yes I'd love it if it was in a UK accent, but don't loose the Jerry Lewis "O" sound. One word Odor is not UK spelling but these are minor points. My son and I have lots of fun doing the words. He will often restart for the title sequence and the animations make him want to try the words over and over. Thank you for a great app. Download it its FREE and there is nothing like it.
