Worst airport and worst airport app
Not only they want to scan your passport to give you an hour of wifi (and I wouldn’t be surprised they sell the scans to their parties), the app just straight up doesn’t work and gives you no free internet.
An absolute disgrace and left a very negative impression about Turkey.

Extend Wifi Doesnt Work
Said on free wifi website if you download app you can extend duration. Downloaded app with that purpose and extend wifi doesnt work. Pointless app
You need internet for connect to airport wifi?? Ridiculous
You can only connect to this app/airport internet receiving a sms using your roaming…. Very bad

You get updates for your flight e.g. gate number, status etc… via the app which is useful (you have to allow push notifications) without checking the screens.
There at some not so nice reviews but they must have improved the app.

Doesn't work. App is glitchy. Can't connect to internet and if you do, it's only for 30 minutes. Garbage.
Don't bother
Awful! Makes my blood boil when an airport can't give easy convenient free wifi to travellers. Waste of time, don't bother, SMS to non-turkey number doesn't work, tells you to wait 24hrs.
