A thinking man's hedgehog-on-a-rope game
It takes a while to figure out what you are supposed to do, but the execution is flawless, the design is beautiful, and the challenges are exactly what they should be at each level. Was almost sad when I completed it yesterday. You must buy this game.PMDalton
Amazing!
I still dont get why are people having so much trouble controlling the little hedgehog. If you dont know how, go to the title screen, slide your finger from the settings icon upward and turn the "game guide" on. Is as simple as that. Even my 4 and 5 year old daughters learned how to play it by themselves. If there's one thing I learned from my gaming experience is that if you dont know how to play it, READ THE FREAKIN INSTRUCTIONS!!!
Well, enough talking about the stupid haters. The game itself is great. I love the mechanics you used and it's very pretty to look at and very appealing to the eye. My kids love this game. Hope to see more games from you man. Keep up the good work.Show lessRokuken
pretty & confused
Wow where to start with this game? It has got great design, it is a beautiful game and the menus have wonderful animations, but after 2 days I have know idea what I am supposed to be doing or how to do it.
There is supposed to be an element of comedy in the menus ect. Which is actually quite refreshing and funny, not really sure how people got offended calling it rude.
The problem is there is so much effort in it being funny and fresh it does not give any useful advice on how to play the game. Controls are explained and can be mastered in time but not, what to do, or what icons and buttons mean.
This is not just me either I showed it to friends and everyone is confused, I can so far swing around collecting black circles (quite efficiently), which then smash into bits which you have to collect before they disappear, and keep doing this until randomly the game ends with a time? Then some strange stats appear before allowing you to repeat the process if you can decipher the menu! oh and there are white line things that can be collected but nobody knows if they are relevant.
I envy the general graphic design but the UI is annoying and confusing because some of the icons you feel like you are expected to recognise but just don't. It is not easy to navigate I will stick with this game in the hope of figuring it out simply because the effort put in by the developers deserves it.Show lessDaneforsythe
Gorgeous but terrible to play.
I tried giving this one a chance. It's GORGEOUS and the UI is amazing. But the game on top of being a little to sassy to the player is badly explained and the controls are abysmal. What's the point of this? I really would love to get into it (and I tried..) but I gave up..PierreNick
Picked this up idly as App Of The Week in Starbucks ...
... something about the image and the idea of "a game about hedgehogs and ropes" appealed greatly. Loved it from the very first second of the instructions. Yes, it takes time to master, but it's absolutely worth it. Beautiful, charming, clever, unusual game.weesimon
Good gameplay, confusing presentation
Once you get the hang of it, swinging your little hedgehog around is easy and fun. It's just a simple physics game with cute graphics. But it's complicated tenfold by its awful tutorial and baffling UI. You can DEFINITELY figure it out guys, if you have ANY patience at all, but if you just dropped the player into a level with no explanation and nothing else present in the game I feel like you'd have a better time. Huge bug!!! Disaster - do not download
I have a new iPhone 5S running iOS 7.01. I ran the game and started the tutorial, then put app in background and then in foreground again. App was running but main button no longer worked!
I could not go to the main screen and could not even shut off phone with top button! Before you think I'm an idiot, I'm a developer of apps and I tried everything. Took over a minute before I could even leave the game in any way.
So if you want your phone hijacked by this buggy app, then go for it, otherwise I would pass. Man, the worst experience to not even be able to leave the game and not even be able to shut my phone off! How is this even possible?
