  • Works great

Find it helpful to focus by having the time announced every 15 minutes. Can adjust the time intervals from every 1 to every 60 minutes. Can also adjust sound and voice and volume. Works great.

Hope they release a version that works with the Apple Watch
  • Initially seems good but disappointing

Doesn't work unless open on screen all the time.
  • Stop Working

After the update it stop announcing the time
  • Beeps instead of speaks

In the new update the voice only works if you the app up, if anything else is open or you're in the home screen it will just make an alert sound -- this defeats the entire purpose of the app!! Please fix, I rely on this app
  • Works ok, needs some improvements

    1) Tip: Just updated on 29 October. The app used to voice out time when it was running in the background. Now it just sends a notification. Powering off and back on fixed this.

    2) Would like to be able to send voice to airplay device. When I select an AirPlay device the sound still comes from phone speaker.

    3) 7:01-7:59 doesn't seem to sound right in Japanese. Didn't seem to have the 'ji' sound for the hour, such as shichi ji

  • Handy & Reliable

Works as advertised. I recommend it without reservation.

Repeating timers like this are so handy for
    • projects involving particular painting or gluing,
    • situations requiring frequent but not constant monitoring, such as baking or — as I'm presently doing — keeping my 8 y.o. on task cleaning up her bedroom.
    • Any situation where you need to maintain a high level of "time consciousness," e.g. leaving for the airport, awaiting VIP arrival, etc.

Works nicely. The six voices are pleasant. The variety brings some excitement into an otherwise dull existence.
    Minor downcheck: it only allows intervals of {1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 60} minutes.

On the plus side, you can configure the app to run "the Voice" automatically every day at specific start/end times. (Or not.)

Only issue I've seen since the iOS 9 update: when you open the app & start the voice, [sometimes? Often? (It's been so long I've forgotten…)] the voice doesn't sound. I developed the habit of first using the app's "sound check" button before starting the voice, and I have had no issues.

Also, a warning: if you close the app while it's announcing intervals, it will continue announcing intervals. I see this as a plus. The thing to be aware of is that if you then open the app & change a setting, eg if you bump the interval setting, that config change is immediately effective — whether you meant to make that change or not. Just be aware.

  • NiceApp

I like your voice over apps, namely Voice Over Clock, Voice Over Stop Watch and Voice Over Timer; each of them is simple, straight forward and functionally straight-to-the-point; is there any way to eliminate the ads, say at a reasonable price, like a lot of other apps do — a paid free ads option for the user to opt out of advertisements. Something for you to consider, and not limit to the above 3 apps that you created.

  • Love it!

It is better than my paid apps! It gives an option of notifying the user at many different times, and another option of choosing the notifying voice in several different languages. Just what I was looking for.
