Used to be a one time payment

I have this calculator on my phone and it only cost me to buy the app. Now they want to charge you every year. Just buy the actual calculator instead of the app

Yearly cost!! Really!!

I own the actual calculator but would love to have on my phone. I’m willing to pay 40 for the app but not every year! Come on calculated industries, make it a 1 time cost and many more will buy. I work in the pipe industry and this holds a lot of people back from buying app.

Great calculator

I bought my first pipe trade calculator about 7 years ago. This app is especially handy for calculating any pipe problems in the field.

Good calculator, however now making it a subscription based thing is sad and disappointing. I feel for the up and coming workers that are getting the short end, especially the 2 locals in my city that helped design it…

Pipefitter review

I have been using Pipetrade Pro, both as an app and as the calculator, for well over eight years. I teach Advanced Offsets and tube bending. All student are given Pipetrade Pro calculators at the beginning of class. By the conclusion of the semester, all students have purchased Pipetrade Pro for use in the field. There isn’t a better tool for a Pipefitter.

I get you can log in with your Apple ID and restore purchases, but what if you bought it fully on an android and now have an iPhone??

A bit confused..

Your immediate response to people that have made the purchase “in the past” is that their purchase is safe and that they don’t have to keep paying for it. But it still doesn’t iron out the inconvenience of having to pay every month/year, for those such as myself. I think the point that all of us that find it being an issue is that it should be a one-time purchase, for all it’s worth.
