Would be cool if it worked
The buttons make a clicky noise when you push 'em, that's about it. The shuttle kinda works. Maybe if they spent less time making awful throw away 'pro' effects garbage they could make one or two of their 900 apps not crap? Just a thought....Jimmy_the_Saint

Not connecting after doing instructions top to bottom
Did everything the instructions say to in the Mac OS download file. I am running latest Mountain Lion, on an iPad mini with latest OS, running the latest Final Cut Pro X, did the custom keyboard commands and made sure it was selected... Tried creating a private network even... Nothing shows up in the Available ProcutX servers list on my iPad...Show lessFyrawx
Not quite there
OK for basic function shuttle however don't seem to do anything. For example the speed editing brings up the clips retime but none of the timer buttons work with this - WHERE IS THE HELP FILE??? or even just a video tutorial. Probably only worth $10 in the present state.Fredfm
Waiting for update
Have not been able to work with this yet, it only works with OS 10.7 and up. It doesn't say this anywhere until you go to their web site to find out why it isn't working. I have sent an email but no response yet. Not acceptable. My advice now would be to wait a while before getting it.RmjScene

I am an early adopter so I can't blame anyone but myself when jumping in early. However: No in and out points? I thought that would have been necessary in version 1. Certainly need some tutorials. That said, these guys are incredibly proactive (just look at the amazing amount of regular FCPX plugins they release) and they have told me future updates will include all the things missing now, coming from user feedback. Might as well get it now and just update when they are available as you can indeed use the app for some things. I like it…and it certainly looks cool sitting on your desk!! Email code takes forever
I ordered this on Friday and it's now Sunday and still no code emailed to me (which is necessary for it to work with FCPX). Not impressed so far with that delay especially when the app is priced at $24.99bcpatters
