App bug please fix
I have loved this app so much for so long it’s so convenient and useful and I love building homebrew but there this glitch where if I add a action to my homebrew and then edit it then it glitches out and I can’t click it I try closing and opening the app but still when I try to edit the action then it just glitches and the action like flashes grey and eventually sometimes will copy itself please fix! I really wanna give this amazing app a better review

Fantastic
A great character sheet, plus access to all the information about item you could ever need. And the only ads that I get are when I level up a character. Only thing is that the encounter tool sometimes crashes.

Great app, small issues
I’d like to start off by saying I love this app. It’s made DMing and creating characters incredibly easy to use. It let me get into DND without having to fight the books or spend a fortune. However I do think some minor issues hold it back.
My app hasn’t updated since 1.0.1 due to concerns about my characters, NPCs, monsters and items being deleted. There’s a lot of homebrew here which would kill me if it was lost. Why won’t I save everything externally you may ask?
Cause the app doesn’t allow me to use .cah files at all. Every time I click it it’ll take me to the page I was last on or the home page, and won’t load the file. This could’ve been patched for all I know, but the fear of losing it outweighs the want to update it. I scoured Reddit and other sources but couldn’t find anything that works to help the update. Has this been patched on iOS in a future update so I could safely update?

I love it, but…
This app is amazingly conveniently and provides everything I need, there’s just one feature I can’t figure out. I make a lot of homebrew content, and I don’t understand how to share it with others so that they can also download these things. There’s no tutorial on how to do so, meaning I can’t bring my hard work to the players of my campaign.

This is a great app, has some issues but for someone who plays a lot with new players this definitely helps me with explaining and showing them how to start D&D

Love the app! Only wish that there was an option for manual dice rolls like the original. Also, is there any plants to update with the Pugilist class?
IOS Compatibility
I had problems trying to open shared files created with Android on iOS, apparently its only with iOS cause my friend who has Android managed it easily
Doesn’t work
Can’t even save combat encounters. What’s the point of the app if I can’t even set up combat encounters and save them to use later?
Best app for DnD character creation
The app is well made and super useful, letting you create characters very quickly.
The only thing is that not all UA material is marked as such, causing some confusion at times.

Great app for dnd, but an issue with transfers
The reason I am writing a three star instead of a five star is transferring files from one device to another. It seems that on IOS, it cannot recognize the .cah files necessary to transfer characters, items, weapons, or anything from the iPad to iPad or even android to iPad. On my android devices, .cah files are read and transferred instantly. But iOS, nothing. Just opens the app without the transfer. Not sure if the author can fix this on an update or with their new app, but it’s a bummer since it’s such a great app! especially since other members of my dnd group have different devices that I would need their information to keep better track of their characters.

AMAZING but a few gripes
The app works great and is the best dnd app I have used so far; however, it would be really nice if the 2024 changes were added to the app. For example, the sorcerer changes.
App crashes whenever I scroll through monsters/players in combat
I’ve really enjoyed the layout for the most part on this site, with good readability and usable descriptions for mechanics and such (pretty much the only thing I would add is a small icon or picture for the races to help those who don’t remember the entire list)
Anyways, the reason I have it at three stars: 4 out of 6 sections of the app actually work for me, those being the character creator, Party organizer, monster list, and items center are all functional (I assume the dice work, but I personally prefer what Mighty Dice™ has done for theirs. My opinion could change based on future changes in that respect)
The other two groups, the environment and combat trackers, only partially function. I can create or choose from the respective listings, but once I’ve clicked “create combat,” it breaks down and kicks me from the app
All that to say, I’ve got enough to work with to use the app, but I’d appreciate it if this could be fixed at some point (it could also be a problem of backwards compatibility, in that my phone is not updated to the “liquid glass” version yet

I know I wish there was a custom option or just wait for every dnd race to be made. Cus there’s a few still not in there. But I love the app new to dnd and it’s been fun! Plus my character can be in foundry vtt so it’s been awesome so far.
I did take a look at rpg companion though prices are definitely higher 9.99 for ad removal where this one is 2.99. But the other app wants ppl to pay monthly, yearly or lifetime for premium? but doesn’t seem fully done and not really worth the money rpg companion trying to market it for premuim. For me at least.
I hope you add the other races like Geppettin and etc. or see if maybe a way to do custom and have us do all the work and the app do what it does for other characters when we lvl up?

Lagging, crashing, annoying
This app crashes when you have more than 3 party members +1 boss. It really is laggy, glitchy and overall refuses to work and is a bratty app. Please make it able to handle more and not have it throw a temper tantrum whenever I add another player. My party is 7 people.

Unable to open its own files
Don’t waste your time with this app. A friend shared a character file for me to join a campaign using this app. It won’t open and now I can’t join the game today. I haven’t played with my friends in months due to depression and using this app ruined today. I will not be giving this app a second chance. If you can’t be bothered to do basic QA for opening your own apps files why even put this on the App Store?
