Setting pace after operations.
I have had Pacer since 2017 after back operation. I lived on a farm and had a long driveway. I use Pacer to set a low goal for two weeks. Then upped the goal by 200 steps then after two weeks I upped at 500 steps then I upped it to the goal of 3000 steps then after three months I upped it to 5000 steps I know we’re supposed to do 10,000 steps a day, but when you have spinal injuries, sometimes that is a long goal. You’d be amazed how many steps you do just walking walking around your house and at work. Although they like it at one time you probably get your 3000 to 5000 steps during your months of recuperation. I am encouraged to walk more with the Medals I can earn with my distances. I always set the days by the number of miles. I need to go that way I won’t run out. Everybody loves to earn awards of accomplishment, and this is a great way to go. I know it cost money, but it’s easier than the gym prices. I have had 10 back operations back and still keep my goals at 5000 steps and if I go over that’s a bonus
