  • Was great, now less helpful

    This app was really useful for a time - as a searchable directory of bleeps and extension numbers. Unfortunately since adding the messaging feature, the directory search is hobbled by showing all the results for people / other users at the top of the list; and the useful results below. So looking for “radiology” means scrolling past all the registered radiology trainees, consultants etc before reaching the information I actually want. Ditto for almost any other useful search string. I can’t believe this made it past UX testing. Sort it out.

  • Stop battling through switchboards

    The Switch Hospital facility is so useful - can dial direct from my iPhone to a department in another Hospital. So important in Rural Medicine. A referral that could have taken 2 hours last week, I achieved in 5 minutes today. I’ve been telling all our staff about it.

    This app is up there with the BNF as a must have for doctors working in the NHS. Effective and simple to use, it saves me time every day.

    This is a very useful app, I only found out about this yesterday in work and it is very efficient. Working in a hospital looking for numbers is a nightmare but with this app it’s fantastic. Thank you app developers 💯

  • Good in principle, just like the NHS 😂

    Good idea, unfortunately regularly asks me to re-sign in and then doesn’t allow me to sign in, and my colleagues are left wondering why I can’t answer bleeps from my mobile or look up numbers etc. To fix it, I usually have to re-download the app and sometimes re-sign up!

  • Needs internet connection to log in

    Since the update where you have to create an account to use the app, it keeps on logging me out. It requires an internet connection to log back in & there are some bits of my hospital where I have no reception so it’s quite frustrating.

    Any chance of stopping the app logging you out?

    It would definitely have been a 5⭐️ before this issue! Really handy and has saved me loooootttts of time on hold waiting for switchboard.

  • Fantastic

    As a medical student, moving round hospitals every 5 weeks means all the contacts and bleep numbers you have get wiped whenever you change.

    Induction has been really useful for getting hold of people I need to find or even for ward rounds, helping out the doctors when they don’t know the numbers for departments/specialists. It’s so good for getting you out of a hole in a hurry when you’re in an unfamiliar hospital.

    Would thoroughly recommend it for anybody in the clinical setting.

    HI there, the call issue was something we fixed in hotfix 3.4.1. Please make sure you are running the most recent version of the app. Also, please try closing the app by double tapping the home button and swiping up on it. Another good option is to remove and re-install the app. We have had no other reports of such issues.
