Updated routing data EasyRoute will automatically switch to the new routing data unless you have offline data in which case it will ask what you want to do. Once you've switched, old caches are invalidated so it might take an extra few seconds when you start routing in an area but be as quick as always once the new data is cached. Changes to how paths are generated when you tap or drag. This should fix a couple of problems: 1. You might get a little offshoot if you tap very close to an intersection and then tap somewhere else. Basically, you might have missed the main road by a little, so it makes a short path down a side street, then routes back to the main road and continues. When zoomed out, it might be hard to see, but it'll result in a confusing turn cue if you follow the route in EasyRoute or elsewhere. This should be fixed now. 2. If you tapped or dragged very close or exactly where an intersection occurs, EasyRoute wouldn't generate a turn cue there! This should be fixed as well.

It will follow roads and paths while also providing the freedom to route directly where you touch. You can use EasyRoute for all of the following: • Plan biking, running or walking routes while customizing them to be both enjoyable and safe. You can simply tap your start and destination points, or tap roads or paths you’d prefer to use along the way. You can drag the route to customize it as well. • Let it guide you through the route on either iPhone or Apple Watch. More than it looks

Creating a route on iPhone or M1 Mac and navigating on Watch works great.

Offline maps mean I actually use the app as a general purpose map as well as routing.

Bonus points for using Valhalla as the routing engine - the cycling routes this app generates come extremely close to CycleStreets, which here in the UK is the gold standard.

From great to awful

I have used this app for years and would have always given it 5 stars. However, in the past weeks it has become utterly useless, constantly crashing, freezing etc…..it has become unworkable. Have tried all the usual fixes for this but sadly to no avail. So for now I would recommend people to stay away.

Love it…however

This app does everything that I need it to do. It easily zonks onto the map for easy measurements. The only thing that I have not figured out is how to get it on my Apple Watch. Someone please help me with this.
