Worst GUI Ever
That guy, has to be the mist incompetent "pretend-to-be" developer in the world. Not only the GUI is a total mess, bugs come out like Ants found an ice-cream, but also changes the app fundamentally causing confusion.
It is at best useless and I cant imagine anyone ever paying for the extras.
What a disgrace for the dev community. Everyone thinks is a developer nowadays.

effective
i use this app everyday. I set it a 2 minutes and go to it several times daily trying to improve my score. It works. I recommend it.
Only missing a couple features to be perfect
First, itโs always a pleasure to find an app that does what you are looking for. Then itโs an added bonus when that app is free. Doesnโt happen very often. The only features this is missing is the ability to focus on a single string at a time and limit the notes being worked on to something other than a full scale.

Just what I was looking for
Excellent app. Exactly what you need to memorize the fretboard.
Wow
Iโve been trying to figure out what the catch is, but so far FretMaster appears to be the exceptionally rare, very good, free app. Canโt see ads, havenโt been asked to upgrade, and itโs not a trial. Therefore, they get my first ever review. Well done! Thank you
Almost perfect - Capo feature broken
Very parametrizable on scale to pick.
Nice looking interface.
Unfortunately cannot set minimum fret by using capo. Game apparently selects a note less than the minimum fret and you don't see which note the app is expecting.
Also how to set the capo is not described in the help and you have to play around with the interface to get the capo.

Great App
Excellent app with plenty of features to keep you learning. Perfect for beginners and experienced musicians. You set your personal levels.
Almost perfect
Great way to learn the notes on the guitar (other instruments I have not tried)! It can show as much (or as little) of the neck as you wish, which is important for really visualizing the notes.
If you play piano you will be able to see the keyboard superimposed on the fingerboard if you turn on "show sharps/flats" because they will be on the frets where the black keys would be on the piano. You will see the familiar pattern of 2 and 3 alternating up the neck on each string!
The interface is not very intuitive, but it is not difficult to use, especially if you take the time to read the help.
The big FLAW/BUG (which I assume will be corrected) is that some of the key selections (if you only want to be tested on notes in the key) do not include the 7th scale degree!
That fixed, would definitely make this a five star review!
