Nowhere near as much content as the website provides
If you want to solely look for what Pope Francis writes, what he says in his audiences, access his previous writings, receive recent news from the Vatican, etc., then you can install this, but the website already has all of that, plus the writings from previous Popes. If you want to read anything from Benedict XVI or John Paul II for example, you have to go on the website anyways. If this was at all comparable to what the website has, then it would be an easy 5 stars, but it is incredibly limited in comparison.Show lessIzakD8

This App only has Pope Francis’ messages and writings

Updates and Organization
Thank you to whoever is updating the General Audiences lately! They are being posted the same day given by Pope Francis, which is much more quickly than in the past. Also the topic of the talk (e.g., the current catechesis on prayer) is being listed along with the date, which is very convenient. Is it possible to do that for all past audiences, as well? This app seems to function more like the vatican news app... finding substantial documents is so laborious this app is practically saying “go find a better Catholic app”. The intent of this app seems to be just advertising the latest events; if this is not the intent, then the index should display more usable, practible content (documents, etc).Show lessNoSoPro
Hasn't worked in several days!
Links to specific detail have not worked in several days! Simply results in endless buffering.
And still not working several months later. It’s fine on an iPad but not the iPhone. Endless buffering....
10 months later and has stopped working again, for some weeks now.

Downloaded this as I had it on an older iPad, but this version is Italian only. There seems to be no way to get an English translation.Zafma
