  • Fantastic Music Game

It might not be long, but it's always fun to play through the amazing soundtrack. The VFX are also mesmerizing.
  • Awesome soundtrack, awesome visuals, decent gameplay

Bought the game and soundtrack after Dodger mentioned it on Polaris a while back. Played it a few times, and honestly she's kinda right with the somewhat unforgiving gameplay part, but otherwise, the soundtrack and visuals are perfect! Please improve gameplay and lessen the difficulty, or add different difficulty modes!

  • Great game, steep learning curve!

The game is awesome, graphics are great, and the music makes me want to dance! The only issue is with the learning curve (steep!) and the lack of a tutorial or intro video of some sort. Without either of those, it takes a few rounds to start to get the hang of the game. All in all, one of the most fun games I've ever played on my iDevices.

  • Cool concept but...

I love the style of the game. The music and visuals are really fantastic. However, I feel like this game would work best on an iPad. I played it on my iPhone and found that my thumbs would cover up important parts of the screen at times. It's also lacking progress base rewards making it less enticing to come back to over and over again.

  • Yawn...

As you can see from the reviews you are either going to love it or hate it. Personally I'm never trusting editor's choice again.
Misleading too... Soundtrack is not connected to play action, and is monotonous. it's the very kind of soundtrack you usually turn off on games where that is an option. Game is flat out boring. You'll love it if you think it's fun to watch screen savers, think disco is great music, and don't care what kind of game you're playing while you are listening to disco while watching a screen saver.

  • Blast'in Great Time!

If you like music, and especially techno rock, then this game is for you: great...addictive; I've only played 30 mins, and there is much to learn and many levels to go. If your don't like music or particularly techno rock, but have kids or grand kids, they'll love it! I must improve my audio equipment play-through experience, but so far headphones add to the experience, and I don't disturb the neighbors! Best $s I've spent all week. Enjoy!

  • This is iOS gaming as it is meant to be!

This game is truly unique. Dropchord utilizes the touch controls and retina display of my iPad better than any game I've played on it before.

Very fast paced and arcade-y, and with a amazing soundtrack to match, Dropchord is a amazing and unique experience.
  • Fix it please!!

On both My iPad 4 and my iPhone 5 when I go to options and set the 'Visual Quality' to anything other then standard (which looks pretty jagged and iffy) the games stutters.
Which in return really kills the entire game, you know being its a rhythm game and all.
Please fix it so I can enjoy this game like I know I will!!!

  • Doublefine does it again

I purchased this knowing nothing about it. I bought it because I saw who made it. Doublefine is spectacular. Everything thy touch is instant gold. I generally hate rhythm games, but this one is fantastic. Good puzzle fun great sound track. DF even managed to make a game I love in a genera I can't stand.

Buy it if you like any rhythm games. Buy it if you love doublefine. And if you've never heard of doublefine, google them. Buy more of their games. They are an amazing studio. Their games have something that sadly 90% of current generation games are lacking... FUN!

  • An EdM heads interactive visualizer

Love the music and the visuals. If you haven't played the game before its worth checking out the tutorial first. It got a bit confusing as to how I was suppose to navigate but i got the hang of it.

One thing I would say should be improved is the text. It's a little hard to read during navigation though I understand its the aesthetic of the font that helps the atmosphere of the game.
