Fun math app for my 5 year old
He's having fun adding and subtracting while he's saving the fireflies. Nice visuals and sound effects. He's not ready for multiplication or division yet but we'll give it a shot once he saves them all and want's to play again.dandag

My Kids love this app!
This app can be modified to the level of your child's mathematical needs...up to division and multiplication (probably good up to 3rd-4th grade math). The best part of this game is that the player has to come up with the equation to solve the problem, and there are multiple choices of numbers, so it is more challenging that the route memorization of equations. My kids love exploring the houses, and rescuing the fireflies!
ALSO, I had a problem with the sound (really it was MY problem, in MY settings), but I received IMMEDIATE feedback from the company helping me to fix the issue (which, again, was on MY end!). Anyway, very happy with the app and the support team. Worth every penny (which really isn't so much when you compare it to a cup of coffee!!)!!Show lessBe_Peace_Now
Meaningful Practice in Motivating Game
I prefer this program over others that work on facts because users need to compose factors (or addends if adding) rather than drill and kill their math facts. This is better for those working on strategy than those looking for fact fluency as it is not a fast paced game.cpsapps

Kids Forget To Hate Math
This app has been the BEST so far for my 3rd and 5th graders to hone their mental math skills. It's a really fun game that's engaging for all levels. I love that I can control what kinds of problems they're getting. They're so motivated to get through each door, they forget to hate the math problems they have to do to get there.
