Inflated temperatures skew over-all averages. Facts please!
I've been using this app for 5-months and I can't trust it. With this current cold weather, my outdoor plants need protection from freezing temperatures. Now that it is winter time, I've noticed that my outside thermostat is some times as much as ten degrees colder than this app is reporting.
I wonder if this monitoring station is purposely near a heat source? Some global warming hoaxers will set up monitoring stations so the recording of currant temperatures slant the truth in AlGore's favor. 34 degrees is much colder than 41. Precipitation Graphics are Incomplete
This weather app is pretty good on my iPad . Except on the precipitation graphics ( i think thats what it is - must be ! ) there is no verbiage to identify it as a such - the only clue in the guessing game that you got is a % symbol bottom left - and that it hasn't rained in California for a long time ... and the very flat line at bottom - implying 0%precipitation ( for the foreseeable future if not for ever)! Please fix - if there is anybody ( supervision ) at home here minding the store with this developer / pls look up display-ergonomics and viewer interpretation psychology ( or just common sense - also ok ), we would appreciate it - not that anybody actually reads this stuff ! Almost perfect
Love the beautiful, clean interface. My only complaint is that every time you launch the app it shows the full screen, then pushed it off to the side to show all locations. Well, sometimes people only are interested in one location. It really shouldn't open by default. It's a nuisanceLerxst71
Completely reloads map
Every time you slightly move the severe weather map which shows warnings, watches, etc, it has to completely reload the map. This app has no memory built in. If you move the map to the left and back to the right, it has to completely reload everything again. Super annoying and it constantly pecks away at download data.Show lessThe emusifyer
Something's gone wrong
That last update screwed something up. I'm in the Los Angeles area and every time I try to update the data in a location it changes the location name to Los Angeles on the current page AND on my list of locations. The actual information looks right, each location I try this on has different data. I tried closing the app (iPhone 5) and going back in. The data seemed reset to the data that was there before I tried the first update, for each location.Show lessSomething's gone wrong
Poor app
This app doesn't let you out in specific cities. As anyone knows Los Angeles is a big city and has many cities comprised of it. And the weather is way different from downtown LA and the Valley but they are only listed as one as Los Angeles and as anyone in California knows one broad temperature for Los Angeles isn't helping and is totally wrong. It can be 68 degrees in Los Angeles by the airport and 90 degrees in the valley but there is no distinction in this app between cities . Terrible app not worth it totally incomplete and incorrect temperature readings . I am in Canoga park it's 90degrees and the app says 72 degrees so it's wrong because it's not 72 degrees right where I am and that what is listed for Los Angeles . Just remove this garbage app cause no one is going to get it unless you fix this major issue. Who wants temperatures of a city that is 30 miles away but it's under this broad thing of LA and we all know each city has different weather and having a broad area of LA for your temperature area is so wrongShow lessLarryD126
Perfect
I've looked a long time for a simple weather app that gives percent chance rain but not a ton of trivial info to sift through. This is great everything I want to know nothing more nothing less so far. I only wish I could pay now to not see the advertisementsAMH-18
Solid Weather App
Being a weather app "junkie", I came across this fairly new app. I understand most people have a certain set of features they look for, which is why there are so many weather apps to choose from.
This one has exactly what I am looking for. Current temps and conditions, hourly forecast (2-hr intervals) which includes rain and wind forecasts. I personally like seeing the wind and rain by hour to get an overall "feel" of the day. 5-day forecast is there, along with detailed descriptions below. Severe weather alerts are right up front, an important item for me! Sunrise and sunset times too, another must for me. The radar maps are versatile and easy to view. I am really liking this app, might be my favorite. Only one small problem!!! Ads! This is my number one peeve. I know it is personal, but will be glad to pay a couple of dollars to remove. Otherwise, I just can't take the ads. Will have to stay off my phone until they update that issue :( Excellent app though for those who do not mind ads.Show lessMattClones
Best Weather App
Out of all the weather apps that are out there this app is the best by far of any other apps. Other apps once in a while give you false information this one never does that. It's always is accurate and it has a sleek smooth design. This app is a heck of a lot better then the weather app that comes standard on any Apple product. Some potential
Scrolling is a little choppy. It doesn't auto refresh very well or locate your position on its own. No push notifications. Cannot add layers on top of radar.
The UI is very appealing. I will be watching for app updates in the next few days to see if the developers are serious about building a quality app. There's something good to work with here. Still using Weatherbug for now.Show lessBswartz95
