The first version of this application (iPhone targeted) was created using Objective-C language and published on AppStore in April 2013. The recent version is an Universal application and was developed using Swift programming language and SwiftUI Framework.

1. In Tasks View I added an “Intelligent Keyboard” (IK). The default keyboard used in previous version occupied too much space and hided part of the coordinate plane. The IK will accept maximum 2 characters and will check syntax. For example it will accept 0, 1, 2, 3, -1, but will reject 1-,10, 11, -12. Users can insert and remove characters. 2. App contains one new tab bar item: Results. It will show student achievements: how many correct and wrong answers student had in Tasks View or Pictures View, the progress percentage separately and in total. Teachers or parents can use this results to appreciate the student progress in learning Coordinate System.

Info View will give you some historical information about the development of the Coordinate System. Demo View will provide an explanation of the Cartesian Coordinate System using a few examples. Tasks View will randomly generate points on Coordinate Plane. Students should write the abscissa and ordinate of the generated point. My daughter loves this app. She got great results in Tasks tab and enjoyed creating pictures by finding points on Coordinate System.

Garbage
The task portion is worthless. When you get the answer wrong and you want to do it again, the app won’t allow you to erase the first answer. I want my money back.

Hi ebbe1220 It is strange that you can't erase the wrong answer and correct it in Tasks Tab. I tried my app using different simulators and physical devises and everything went right. So if first time you provided the wrong answer you need to tap X or Y field, which one contain the wrong answer, you should see the blinking cursor, after you can remove the wrong answer by pressing the backspace button (it shows an arrow) and is located on the right of button 1. If you still have problems please let me know what device are you using and iOS version so I can investigate! I wish you all the best and hope my app will work well on your device!
