Just passed NCLEX RN

Wanted to say thanks, couldn’t have done it without this program. I started studying as soon as school was complete. I answered questions almost everyday, some days I listened to mark klimek free lectures instead. When I was finally able to schedule my test, I doubled down and picked up my pace of answering questions. I took the pre NCLEX practice test, then studied more and answered a bunch more questions. Then I took the post test. The next step was my actual test, I was so excited to get my pass result on my first try.
I loved the rationales that came with every question, great app. The computer version is where you will have the options for the simulated NCLEX exams.

Great value, results guaranteed.

I passed the NCLEX in 75 questions.

Most nurses live and swear by UWorld, but Uworld is very expensive for the broke college student.

This app is an excellent alternative. It’s $21 for one month, I studied with this app for 1 month and passed. You get 2600 practice questions along with nice resources such as videos on various topics. You can use this app on your phone or the computer, which is nice.

The biggest thing this app did for me was retrain me to read NCLEX-style questions again, because some questions are very tricky and could be missed simply for misreading. There are a handful of dumb questions, but the majority of the questions are well designed and in line with what you will see on NCLEX. The rationales are thorough as well, which is important.

My biggest complaint with the app is the “Possibility of passing” feature. Although it’s in its beta stage, it told me I was “not likely” to pass the NCLEX, which only served to my detriment as I was already very anxious about this exam. I was getting 53% of my questions correct, which the app thought to be poor. I proved the app wrong by passing in 75 questions.

So all in all, it’s a good service and a great alternative to more pricey NCLEX review services such as UWorld or Kaplan. The iPhone app itself has a few bugs, but the developers are constantly fixing bugs as they appear.

Could use some work

I loved this app because it helped me tremendously when I was preparing for my NCLEX-PN four years ago. The mock NCLEX-RN is a definite plus. Looks and feels just like the real deal. However, it seems that some recent changes made are making the app slower and more prone to glitches. Questions are often repeated so it’s hard to tell if the numbers advertised are accurate or not. It often kicks me out while I’m in the middle of quizzes. The “possibility of passing” calculator is highly unreliable. Good app, but could be better.

Great app overall!

I love the ease of this app to practice NCLEX questions. It’s very well designed and user friendly. I am also using it for the practice exams. The odds of passing is VERY much in Beta, as the app says. It went from 58% chance of passing to almost 0….
Also, some questions seem a little off…like you have to “read into” the question, which you are NOT supposed to do.
Overall, good practice, but if you get a question wrong, just see how many actually got it correct and it may make you feel better.

Lost All My Access

I had purchased the full features on the NCLEX RN Mastery app yrs ago before the upgrade. It was a great tool to help me pass my LPN boards on the first try. I would even recommend the app to so many classmates, but now I am highly disappointed that I lost all my access and am being required to pay for subscriptions. I understand it’s business but us nursing students already pay so much in tuition and paying for subscriptions doesn’t make anything better. You should have some good promotions for nursing students with some sort of incentive. The Kaplan course offers a full refund if you don’t pass your boards on the first attempt within 6 months of purchasing their content. Just giving you something to think about. I was generous to give 3/5 stars only because the app prior to the update was fair and helpful.

Hi There! Please contact us at support@hltcorp.zendesk.com. We should be able to restore your access easily.

Love This App

I usually NEVER write reviews but after I have used this app for my NCLEX-PN (Oct 2016) and now NCLEX-RN (June 2021) passed both times on the first try using only this app. I love the questions and rationales, they were very close to the questions I got on both exams. The NCLEX simulations are great and mirror how NCLEX is set up.. thank you and I have always recommended my classmates or anyone to download and PAY for this app because it is very worth the money.

Passed NCLEX

I downloaded this app to provide me with questions that I could answer anywhere and at anytime. I thought the app was very helpful in providing me with NCLEX style questions as well as very in depth rationales. If anyone is looking for a resource that can provide them with practice answering NCLEX style questions without paying a fortune for UWorld, this is a great app to use. The only reason I am giving a 4 star rating is because of their probability of passing feature. While answering questions on the app it told me I only had a 6% chance of passing and also gave my friend who had the app a very low chance of passing which wasn’t very accurate if we both passed the NCLEX-RN on the first try. So a PSA to all those who have a very low probability of passing percentage on this app, it is NOT accurate.

Thank you so much! The PoP on the NCLEX prep Qbank is a beta version. The predictor associated with the simulations is more accurate and has been tested over many years.

What happened?!

I’m no longer able to access questions & topics that were just on the app a week ago. I’ve only got 3 topics areas & several videos to review. I’ve tried everything I could think of to reset it, but it’s still the same. I even redownloaded the other mastery app to see if it was the same on that one. Same thing, expect there are not even half the questions that were once available. I’m not paying money for something that is giving me 1/4 of what I originally agreed to pay for. This is so upsetting because I used to love this app.
**Trying to find a way to get a hold of the company for a refund after resubscribing, finding NOTHING useful, & deleting the app after 1 hour but there is NOTHING on the website to do so.

Great app, may need some maintenance

I downloaded this app a while ago and paid for the question explanations and access to all of the questions. It has made on-the-go studying so easy! However, I have noticed that the questions aren’t all great. For example, I had a question about a cardiac implantable defibrillators, and in the explanation under the correct answer it said “Call the healthcare provider if the device shocks you and call 911 only if ” and below all of the answers it simply said to call 911 if the device delivers a shock. I love the ease of use of the app and all the information I have access to, I just am worried a little about the accuracy of the information.

Unprofessional

Customer service by Blake D is not professional and comes off as aggressive if you disagree with the approach they have to your account. They unnecessarily flag you for account sharing for logging into a different device that is owned by yourself. I bought the app before it was subscription based. Money hungry since I’m not profitable I guess, a way to cancel my account right hlt? Surely I’m not the only person in the world who has multiple emails.

As far as the functioning of the app, the questions and rationales are not what they used to be. Not difficult enough to reflect the RN nclex which is full of case study like scenarios. I found that Kaplan’s subscription based nclex study source is way better to study. It has full rationales and doesn’t list the same rationale for every answer. Kaplan also has a week by week guide that allows you to follow a guided pace with assistance starting with the how to’s on answering questions. The lab section was the only helpful section I found.

We're sorry to hear you had a bad experience, and we certainly never intend to come off as aggressive. We're glad to hear that you found a study source that works for you, and we wish you the best in your studies.
