  • Great App

This is great app for doing math homework without wasting a bunch of paper. My only suggestion is to allow setting the size of the eraser so it is more precise. I often need to erase one number and end up erasing more. Thankful for the undo feature.
  • Best Note-Taking App

I love writing notes, but pen and paper just isn't feasible in the modern classroom. Loose Leaf is the notepad I've been looking for, and it has all the features I need to take all my notebooks with me in the simple, easy, lightweight format of my iPad. Thank you!
  • Great open source note taking app!

I was happy to see an open source note taking app, as that’s one of the largest use cases for my iPad, and didn’t want to use something closed source for a bulk of work or jotting down thoughts. I’m only giving it four stars as I see two features that could really help this app: have a RGB color selector for the pencil, similar to iOS markup on PDFs and images; and utilize a PDF as a paper template. To expand on the second feature: I imported an inverted college-ruled paper (with a black background) for night time writing. I saved it as a notebook but to have it as a template would be easier to duplicate. Also, that’s where the custom pen color option came from, as white isn’t available as a preset (for understandable reasons).

  • Bleh

Not the best, not the worst.

    1. Does not rotate when you switch from portrait to landscape views
    2. Cannot insert text box to type
    3. The sidebar makes it a little tricky to write in the far left of the page.
    4. There should also be an option to crop pictures in a square/rectangle instead of drawing it out.

  • Perfect!

Absolutely what I was looking for. Simple but ultra functional for my purposes. I can choose whatever paper I like to make what ever book/notes/lists etc I want by hand. It’s like having a never ending supply of paper and a bin, and I get to keep and chuck out whatever I want. Thanks so much! A big thumbs up from me!

  • Horrible App!

No instructions, not intuitive, not worth my time!
On my iPad I have no way to delete projects, and then when I try to get to another project there is no way out of the current project!

    Bye!
  • Once again...

I have one clear and distinct complaint about your app. It is utterly and totally biased against left-handed people. I can’t write two words w/out sliding over a control button and suddenly I am on a new page, new color, I’ve inserted five pictures, etc.

Writing with the left hand has always been problematic due to smearing the ink on my hand and the paper. And this is the tech version of that.

So, basically I will find a new app and thank you for nothing.

  • Wow!!

This app is amazing. I love apps that mimic real life, and this app does just that. It’s amazing because the way that you move things around, it just feels like your using a whole studio of art, right here on your iPad. Also, I like how everything is in little compartments, no other app really has that. I feel like this should go on the App Of the Day stories, and even all those little details like how the button icons rotate when you tilt your iPad, it’s just so cool. Thanks for making this app!

  • No adjustable eraser

This is a dealbreaker for me. I can’t tell you how many times in a meeting I have been taking notes and needed to erase a word only to have it to erase two or three lines of notes! Totally unacceptable. The pencil tool is adjustable, why not the eraser. I don’t think this app has ever been updated and until it is I will have to look elsewhere.
