Not fully baked
Scanning for my machine takes forever. After giving up, I entered my IP address, which still hangs. When this DOES decide to work, it's a bit stuttery, and most importantly the actual recording would not begin after pressing the Record button. Please give this app a little more love / QA.
Time saver and game changer
This has saved so much time being I record myself. It links up quick and allows me to get work done! Thanks Mixcraft!

This app don't allow you to select the track that to record or adjust the track volume.
If you're working alone and have everything preset and you want to stand at a mic, sit at a drum set or piano and just record takes it's good for that. Even if you have to charge for it you need to add more control. Everything I do with my mouse I should be able to do with app!
Please put some effort in to it.

It's an awesome app for mixcraft, it would be cooler if you could move sound around and have access to more of the software

Doesn't work
When you start the app it says "searching for mixcraft" when I hit "stop" it says enter an IP address. When I enter my IP address it take forever to connect. How do you fix that?

Will it work?
I just recently bought this software (Mixcraft 7) to produce my next Christmas song to be ready for next year. For the most part I'll be working alone so hopefully this app stays up to date and works as planned this could be a good thing.
Great but ...
Man I love this thing for recording. But the way I imagined it in my head right before I downloaded it is the way it is on the computer. Able to control the mixer and channels. I use the midi (virtual instruments) a lot for live performance and would love the convenience of the mixer and arming different tracks straight from my iPad. Keep me in mind acoustica. Great remote otherwise.
