Geometry Ace 5.0 is a complete overhaul of its predecessor app, Interactive Geometry (InGeometry). Definitions and tutorial problem solutions have been completely rewritten so they are easy to follow for middle and high school students. The touch interface has been greatly improved to work more smoothly. The user interface is more intuitive and an extensive help document is easily accessible within the app. Transformation tools now have easy to use dials and sliders for exact rotations and translations. Construction tools have been completely reworked to provide easier placement and attachments. More topics have been added.

- Added Drag-n-Drop Workspace Smart Tools for enhanced analysis of different models. Smart tools are intelligent drop and snap-to locations for line and circle intersections, perimeters, perpendicular, parallel, and tangent lines and points. Snap-to points, lines, and circles maintain context sensitive lockon state until specifically disconnected to allow long chains of dependently associated workspace tools that move according to the dependency relationship (parallel, perpendicular, radius, linked, midpoint, etc.) as defined by the user. - Added a 25 step Undo and Redo for quick recovery of mis-steps as well as for replay - Improved saving and loading of workspaces for quick, more relevant access - Added new and improved existing export and import of the workspace environment - Added reference “shape” indicators on shape specific slide out tabs - Updated the menu color scheme and formatting layout

---All New Collaboration Feature for Multiple iPads--- New interactive collaboration mode provides sharing of the application workspace between a teacher and a student or between students working together on a task. The multi-viewing mode allows teachers to simultaneously view the workspace of up to 30 students at a time. This collaboration mode supports two or more iPads running Interactive Geometry on a local wireless network. --- - Added quick switching for left and right menus - Added separate breakout tabs for HowTo, Skills, Stats, Terms, and Help screens - Added axis position reference lines to more quickly help the user identify their location on the grid when dragging a shape point. - Fixed several bugs in the previous version and increased the displayed values for some labels.
