In a room with no noise it reads 40+dB when the tv is turned on it reads 57dB and when I talk in a quite room I get a normal voice of 76+dB. The meter was going crazy at all times. deleting from my iPhone 4s

Thought I'd download this to see when the volume level reaches 75 Db. Turns out silence is near this.... App is pointless.

I work in an automotive stamping plant where the average noise levels easily exceed 100 dB with peaks of 130+dB. This app measured the noise to be 12dB. Useless..
