Another Masterpiece
Once again, Jordan Rudess has created another fabulous app. Harmony Wiz is easy to use and the results are amazing. If you don't know how to play an instrument, or read music, no worries. Harmony Wiz does all the hard work, and makes you sound like the Maestro of the Universe. Thank you Mr. Rudess for for apps that inspire us to get creative.

A stage for sonic immagination
Always on the lookout for new apps to feed my iPad music dabbling habit, I chanced upon this absolute gem. The age that Pink Floyd spoke about, where anyone with a sonic imagination would have the tools to make music, is here! Only just started to dabble with this app, but was so impressed with what it could do that I bought all the add-on packs. Keep up the great work, Mr R and Co.

Unique and totally inspirational
I was really amazed when I saw this demonstrated by Jordan via synthtopia site. I notice that someone has complained about the lack of sounds and of the default sound set: I totally disagree. I don't expect this app to be a general music workstation, it's designed to help you sketch your musical ideas and harmonise any leads you create. The default sound set is very nice - ranging from strings, flutes to pianos and guitars. You can expand it with synth and other sound-sets, but I like the default sounds a lot. The synth expansion set does have that Jordan dream theater-style though.
This app is revolutionary and an amazing sketch pad. Once you use it to create your musical sketch, you would naturally want to switch to a general music workstation app such as korg gadget or any number of others to finish your song. This app will be the starting point for any music I create, and is thus indispensable.

Awesome
I'm an engineer rather than musician so knowledge on harmony is not one of my strong points and something I'm just learning about.
This app really helps bring this together for me. A fun and educational app, well designed and intuitive for me at least. Here is a very happy customer. Just what I've been looking for.

Wiz Bang
I have to agree with some of the criticisms levelled so far, but I have to believe that these are early stages in the app and that updates will rectify the bumps.
I have all of the other apps by these developers and they're my go-to music-making apps! especially Thumb and DrumJam which are superb. That went a long way to my decision to purchase this app.
What I'd love to see is a way to seamlessly link all the instrumental power from ThumbJam do that I can create my own ensembles in Harmony Wiz.
Good beginnings.

Meh
Good idea but only as good as the sounds they supply. I bought the in app packs but still sound like GM Midi need to be able to load your own samples. I'd give it a miss until that time
A great app
This is a great app for composing/arranging, but I have a problem buying extra instruments. I play harp and would like to hear how the music sounds on a harp. It would also be good if it could be available for Apple laptops/desktops as well as iPads.
Does not work correctly for me
Harmony Wiz is not a wiz. Cannot get it to start correctly and erase correctly. They need a video on how to use this app. I would not recommend Harmony Wiz until I get some answers which I have not.
Most useful app since ThumbJam or Cubasis.
Got the app at 3:00pm. Better than I expected. Decided to use it to help with a soundtrack deadline for the next day. Composed with it after dinner. Imported midi into Ableton, with NI Kontact. Next day the Director proclaimed me a genius. Nuff said. I am however looking forward to the addition of more compositional styles!

Good, but far too slow.
Apart from the fact that it regularly crashes, it is also very slow. I have gave up waiting for it to "harmonise" my music far too much. It seems to get stuck on a certain part of the song and refuses to move on; YouTube tutorial vids are obviously edited to disguise this fact.
It works well if I make a 1 or 2 bar loop, but any longer and problems arise. Hopefully these issues will be fixed with updates; if not, I'm deleting it.
