  • Best Calc App there is

If you’re looking for an app to create amazing volumes of revolutions or known cross-sections in a way that makes students appreciate how amazing Calculus is, look no further. Spend the 99 cents - you won’t be disappointed! There are also quite a few other useful applets within this app but the volume & surface area ones are the best.

  • A Little Bug

This app is a great tool for visualizing calculus problems and it has its own built-in calculus course. What would be cool though if it also had 3d plots and a graphing inset for conics and more improper integral for functions not just 1/n^p. Oh and I forgot that there is this cosecant bug where I try to graph cosecant and the app crashes for some reason--I don't know why--please fix--I'll give it five stars if you do--please?

  • Great App

I teach three levels of high school calculus (BC, AB, and non-AP), and I find this App to be a terrific tool for the classroom.

If you want to investigate limits informally, the App allows you to mimic Archimedes's "exhaustion" method of approximating pi (Archimedes stopped at 112 sides while this App allows you to go as high as 5,000 sides). If you want to look at limits via Cauchy's formal "delta-epsilon" definition, this App allows you to enter a function and manipulate the range for epsilon.

I would buy the App solely for its wonderful rendering of solids of revolution, but there is so much more, and all of it first-rate.

If you teach calculus and own an iPad, this is an App that you should own.

  • Crashing 100%

    This program defines Fail.
  • I can't find how to see the full line.

some large numbers are represented like 3814715923•••••• , but I want to see the full line.
  • How section glitch

I went into how to use calculator section and their is no way to exit it. I've tried to close app, close app and reboot and nothing is working. Going to try and remove and re-install, but shouldn't have to do that. Removing and re-installing solved issue.
  • Great collection of interactive examples

Found this app as I was getting ready to guest lecture an AP Calculus class. What a great set of interactive examples. They really helped the students visualize what was going on.
  • A must-have for any serious math nerd

Too much to list! This app has all the capabilities you'll need to bring to life difficult concepts that are best learned visually. Everything from Algebra 2 through Multivariate Calculus is there. Get it!
  • Great for visualizing concepts!

This app is essential for any student taking college calc. It's stands out from other online sources like wolfram by actually showing you the concepts in an interactive format.
  • Great for visual emphasis
