org-mobile-push unworkable

This app has a lot of promise. I would love to have something that directly translates org-mode files to a mobile format that can easily be edited. The interface for files that you actually get synced is quite nice. The problem is that syncing between .org files and the MobileOrg app is cumbersome and error prone. If you forget to do it and you've edited your files, you just won't see the latest version on the app. If you edit in the app, you'll have conflicts. If this app would just work directly on .org files in a Dropbox folder it would be ideal for me. Since that isn't possible, I'm going to have to try a Markdown-based alternative.

Dropbox sync doesn't work, even using org-mobile-push

First problem: you can't just add a .org file to the Dropbox folder and expect it to show up in the app. You have to go through a convoluted setup process using emacs on your desktop, which involves setting up special customization variables and using the very finicky "org-mobile-push" command. If you don't, the app will say there's an error, but won't explain what the error is. You also have to know how to use org-mode's "agenda" feature which isn't explained or mentioned on the website.

Second problem: after I did this, the file I wanted showed up in the app's file list, but had no contents. I seem to be following the website's instructions correctly, from what I can tell.

Third problem: the web site's links to the purported support forums, FAQ, and wiki are all broken.

100% does not work.

Mismatched notifications, unresponsive help site, unable to perform any actions.

Awesome org-mode integration

The app isn't the fanciest or the prettiest, but being able to capture items on the go, and review your current status is just wonderful.

Fantastic

Can't wait for more features

Great app!

Look forward to future updates!

Finally

I am so glad this is back. I can't wait to use it!

Perfect

Provides an ideal level of control over your org data while away from your precious emacs install. If access to agenda items, org-capture, fulltext search and even on-the-fly org file edits sound good to you, then stop wasting time and download!

Nice idea, but....

Step one is to sync, and all it gives me is "unexpected error," so there's not much to do from there.

One of a kind

The interface is basic but the app has a couple of useful touches. For example, if you hold down on an item in the list a shortcut menu pops up. Fingers crossed for iPhone 5 screen size support soon. There are a few rough edges, but I'm glad this exists. Org-mode is awesome.
