  • Still no landscape view

The last review to mention this is now a year old, but there is still no facility to rotate the app to landscape view, neither is there the ability to zoom. This is madness, as the content is superb and I want to see more than a tiny thumbnail image. The app also appears not to support dynamic text sizing so we are stuck with the rather small font, which I struggle to read on the iPhone screen.

This really should be fixed as the app could be an otherwise excellent add-on to the print subscription. I won’t be buying the iPhone subs for the time-being.

  • Fraud. Subscribe to print edition

I had a similar experience as the other reviewer. Was not able to access full issues despite paying $60+. Many attempts to reach BJP and Apple with one unhelpful response from BJP (nothing to do with us) and zero from iTunes/Apple. Do not attempt to subscribe to BJP app for full editions.
  • No! No! Stay away! Rip Off!

Now that I have your attention...

Paid the hefty subscription, because I hoped it would be worth it. I got one full edition, and the free editions are all PREVIEWS of full editions, and a great deal of those are ads (because, you know, I really want a preview of ads.) The app suggests I sign onto the website, but it does not recognize my email. I wrote customer service, which was no help, but it a tony British sort of way.

Then I bought a new iPad. Now the site doesn't recognize me as a subscription holder at all, and I have no way of getting on the web site to fix it, and no reason to think customer service will deliver any.

Terrible terrible. Either deliberately a rip off, or simply incompetent. Save your money.

  • Keeps asking me to buy the issues despite my subscription

I have an active subscription. However, the app after I download a couple of issues resets, deletes the downloaded content and despite recognizing the subscription only allows me to pay for single issues instead of letting me download them. I was forced to delete the app twice and reload it and the same issue persists.

  • A Terrific App and Magazine

App works great. All the features seem flawless. The magazine is, of course, a classic so you can't miss by subscribing. The store was a bit confusing but, in the end, I prevailed. A keeper.
  • OMG. *A* List, Top Drawer reading, not to be missed.

The very best photography magazine app, bar none. Smart, gorgeous, awesome. Thank you BJP, keep the faith and keep those of us working at the art inspired.
  • Bravo

I found this app as a related app to FLTR by the same people - another brilliantly designed magazine made for the iPhone screen. Highly, highly recommend this app for powerful features and the pictures are WOW!
  • Excellent

This is a really nicely designed electronic version if BJP I prefer it to print in fact. The customer service from the developers is excellent in the unlikely event that you have an issue
