too many pop ups
i like the app but there are way too many pop ups that make it so insanely slow that it’s nearly impossible to use. it is always trying to get you to buy the subscription that is always somehow on sale. let me pick what i want to do on the app instead of bombarding me with pop ups and making everything take forever to load

Great app
Great
There are way better apps
Fine app for just keeping track of period but there are far more accurate and informative apps for trying to conceive. This app contradicts other apps, when taking ovulation tests and properly confirming surge, Glo will input surge day as ovulation day while ovulation will happen 24-48 after surge(which is even stated in information status at top of page) there is no way to edit to reflect this) Also when switching to pregnancy information input previous will disappear, while some of it is accessible through other methods, ovulation data and testing is gone.
I regret having purchased this app and there is no refund option causing me to need other apps to input my own correct information and needing to disregard theirs. This app needs some work.

New update ruined everything
Similar to some long term users, I’ve been on the app for 7+ years and it worked amazingly up until so many new updates and changes getting released. The latest version meant my calendar couldn’t be accessed because I didn’t permit the company to access my private data. This meant I lost a few months worth of data and NOW - everytime I try to access the app, it doesn’t load properly. Contacted IT support who said they couldn’t help basically. Switching to a different supplier . What a shame .
I never leave reviews but this is annoying so had to

Glow used to be great
I now kind of regret getting the lifetime membership for Glow. I don’t like that it automatically opens to the community page. I wish there was a way to turn that off. I have track my cycle selected, why is there a spot for insemination if I’m not trying to get pregnant? While I could use Eve, it’s not as detailed in other ways like temperature tracking. Really I just need more control over what is displayed on the app

Sooooo many ads
I have been using this app for ~5 years to track my cycle, and the ads and product pushing have increased exponentially over this time. It is incredibly frustrating!
Hi
Good
10 years of tracking data LOST
I’ve been using Glow every month for 10 years. They released an update which removes access to the calendar and all of your tracking data with absolutely no warning. I have seen comments that agreeing to allow Glow to “collect and process your sensitive data” may restore the calendar function, no doubt so that they can sell it, which is utterly abhorrent and is profiting from women at the most sensitive times of their lives. Many women have been using this App to log data that is critical for IVF/TTC success and with no warning, it is all lost. This is absolutely disgusting and if you are considering installing this App, I would seriously advise you to reconsider.

Was a great tracker but the new update is awful
I’ve been using this as a tracker for 5 or 6 years now on recommendation from a friend and I used to love it - the tracker was more or less spot on and it was easier to predict if I was going to be early or late based on the symptom tracker too. But the new update has absolutely ruined it for me.
I couldn’t access my calendar at all, and another user said she logged out and logged back in and it came up. I tried that but the app wanted to be able to track my data for targeted advertising etc and to share sensitive data, which I’m really not comfortable with. So, I clicked decline but a message popped up stating that you cannot use the tracker part of the app without accepting the data tracking. This is a huge invasion of privacy. Especially in an age where there is so much private data harvesting and scamming, to have such sensitive information freely accessible to this company AND third parties is insane. I expect F*cebook to be stealing my data but not my period app🫠
I genuinely never leave negative reviews but losing 5+ years worth of tracking has wound me up so much I HAD to share.

Prepare to Be Bombarded with Ads for Paid Version
This app used to be amazing. Now I feel constantly bombarded with pop ups and advertisements for the paid version of the app. It impacts the ability to use the basic functions of the free app like simply tracking my cycle.
I’m not going to buy the paid version of the app when I’m not able to effectively use the free version.
I dislike this app to the point where I am manually moving years worth of data to a new tracking app.
