This game is awesome!
This game is really fun, but it’s nothing like the ads. There are these little match games where you get coins and energy points if there are adventure thingies. These come and they last for up to 20 days. You get to build stuff and you have cows and sheep and bees and ducks and otter and pigs to feed. They are factories where if you have certain products you can make stuff and then you can make stuff with the products that you get out of the factories. There is request from people who live in your town with a little helicopter that send their things if you have the right Products then you can send them there order. There are planes and you get a reward if you send them off fully loaded. There are trains. There is a mind where you can get gems and stuff that will go in your museum. There’s a zoo where people also request stuff. You get animals and rewards for getting so many animals. There are islands and ships that you can send off to get goods. This is a really fun game and I was looking forward to getting it because of the ads, but then it turned out completely different from the ads. Occasionally there is a mini game like once a month or something Like that and this game is really fun. There are co-ops you can join and chat with and you can also request stuff on it like products .There are lots of mini stuff that goes with the game and it is really fun. I think you should get the game!

New update ruined the game
After loving this game for some time, it seems the update has completely ruined it to the point of not being able to play.
Plane button taken away so I miss planes all the time not knowing they’ve arrived.
Paid $9.99 New Zealand dollars for the perks and now can’t access that at all. Can’t even see where all the tasks have gone or access the perks. Serious glitch there.
There used to be events and you could see what was coming up, not anymore. Now it just refreshes with no warning after you’ve been playing the map game for a while.
There used to be a variety of events, now the same map game over and over becomes super repetitive and you’d have to be playing non stop for days to get the final rewards without paying.
“Pirate treasure - your next turn is in 24 hours” WHERE? Where do we find this???
It seems that the developers have seriously messed up on this new update and I won’t be spending anything more until it’s fixed.

Mediocre false economy.
There’s a lot of fun here but you need to beware of some obvious economy manipulations. IDO NOT SPEND MONEY - BEWARE- FALSE ECONOMY. For example you might collect 20 of each other ingot but still need a single gold ingot. You collect 40 of other building materials and still need a single one another type. You can’t upgrade your bar because they won’t give you paint at the same rate as all the other materials. There’s always something that they are leaving incredibly scarce. If you don’t manage to send your plans in time but load them 90% full you lose everything!! All of these manipulations combined make it obvious that they are keeping you under a glass ceiling continually and trying to get you to spend money here.

Would be 5 stars if….
I absolutely love this game. It was an ad while doing my lessons on Duolingo and I admit when I downloaded it, it was different from the snippet I played but nonetheless it’s my literal favorite game now. I play all day in between everything and any down time I get. With that being said, it definitely could use some improvement. I know that the developers have to make money, but sometimes it seems like every single thing cost something and it’s forcing you to spend real money. Which I have about $10-$15 but it’s honestly annoying how slow you progress unless you want to spend the funds to upgrade things and play the game within the game (which by the way is very hard on some levels to the point where if you don’t have township cash to buy extra moves or have add ons, you won’t get past that round.) overall, it’s a really good game that I enjoy, plus I’m meeting awesome people in my co-op, but allowing us to play the game a little more, get more items without it taking so long. We need tools and materials for literally everything but they ONLY come by train, which if you haven’t upgraded your train lines could take almost 5 hours every single time. So there are definitely some improvements that can happen just like any game, but I promise you’ll still have fun if you download and play. If you don’t wanna spend money, everything will kinda move at snails pace for you, but it’s awesome!

Wonderful game I love but there is a issue
I love this game it is really fun installed it today and I am doing pretty good but everything is to pricey I lost all my cash and then when we build stuff it just gives us points not actually proper cash. The trains take such a long time to arrive as well and then it gives us material we don't really need or atleast give us a bit more materials like 3 or 2 of each supply and when we build stuff it takes like 5 hours to build we don't have all day even though like we shut the screen down still it is a long wait that is annoying. I read one review your response was that it will get better in the new update IT WAS 3 YEARS AGO MAN WHERE IS THE UPDATE!!?? I know this sounds a bit rude but it is true so this is all I want you to improve and ACTUALLY do it. The price(cash) requirement going down a bit, more material on train and train time become less, waiting time also become less. That is all so I hope you ACTUALLY do it. I do not mean to be rude but this is just my thoughts and probably a bit others to.

good game!
It’s a really fun game to play every now and again. I go through phases of playing it. Basically what you do is design your town by levelling up and unlocking more factories, community buildings and decor etc. As your level gets higher it gets way harder to level up and can take people a few days just to go up one level. That is a slight downside but it makes the game more challenging in a way. You can join regattas if you have a Co-Op (which is a group full of other players) and earn rewards like money and so much more. On the co-ops you can also ask for help from other players for products and resources and chat to them. One major thing that really annoys me is that the prices for certain currencies like coins and bucks are a bit overpriced. Another thing that’s annoying is the amount of time it takes for things to build, grow and produce. Like there’s crops that take over 9 hours to grow. That’s basically the majority of your day waiting for it to grow. So I’d say you have to be pretty patient with the game and go on it for like 20 mins one day and check back the next day for all your rewards and crops. Otherwise they won’t be ready and you’ll be pretty bored. In general it’s a pretty good game!

Changes in regatta
The new changes that you did to Regatta most of them are not bad and it doesn’t bother me yes, a little frustrating, especially when you put teams against other teams that are cheating in my opinion by dropping out and then rejoining the regatta, and then starting their tests all over again for the day, that’s not fair to teams that don’t want to drop out of their co-op and do that because we consider that cheating you should make a daily count that they’re allowed to do. No matter how many co-ops they join they should only be able to do the 15 if they’re in gold or 16 with the cash the second part of the regatta that is frustrating is that you changed the mini game, so that now you have to win the puzzles for those to count some of us are such high level. We get stuck for a week or two at a time and that’s not fair to us because we can no longer choose those tasks. so now the co-op has to fight over the six city tasks, which some of those are terrible and we have to delete them because they are so bad and then we’re sitting there waiting two hours for each of those tasks to read coop because you give us such crappy ones, and nobody wants to do, it makes it really hard to finish our task for the day you’ve taken a lot of the fun out of the game the times and stuff are ridiculous. It’s getting more and more frustrating. I’m level 105. If I wasn’t that high, I would’ve already quit this game because of the changes you’ve made.

I’ve just got back playing the game again since 2015 I think it was, and it kinda looks the same as it was back then.. Not really good at reviewing games all I have to say why I have it 5 stars because of the Nostalgia coming in every time I open the game but yeah everything else and the farming is just fun for me not sure if you’d like it tho who ever’s reading this but why not try? :)

Not fun anymore
I’ve played for over 7 years and now they’ve done a big update and totally ruined all the fun, life’s stressful enough so to escape it I turn to this game but they’ve just added to it, so it’s time to quit, it used to be really fun and chatting to your friends in the co-op was a way to forget all your problems for a while, I know a lot of people have had enough now, it’s boring and stressful just trying to do your tasks, it’s ok if you have endless cash to put into it, the golden ticket is £4.99 I have bought many times but they keep reducing the amount of days you get, now it’s every 21 days, most of the tasks in the regatta are basically candy crush and they cheat big time, you will only win one level if their numbers allow, levels can go on and on unless you can pay or you will fail all your tasks in which case you’re also letting your team down. The developers are very strict on cheating, apparently there are 3rd party apps which they don’t allow you to use, I totally respect that and I would never cheat but they’re allowed to cheat, they cheat people out of their hard earned cash for a game that is supposed to be fun not stressful, all they care about is getting your money. I’m done for good now and it is a shame but I’ll look for a new game.
