The idea is very cool but it’s totally inaccurate. It said my eyes (which are CLEARLY bright green) were black... idk if you could improve it that would be great.

In the ballpark, much potential
I like this app for what it is trying to do, and I find it gets in the ballpark but is not spot on. I think the device camera, lighting (color temperature of bulbs) and display (true tone or not) are variables that must be just right in order to get close to the color being captured, or approximated.
I did purchase the extended color sets, which are nice to have.
One suggestion I have is for the Search / color picker mode: provide an option to change the background color from white to black (or also grey)... when color matching to a real world sample using a light emitting screen, white light can visually bias the comparison.

Wow
I took a color of my eyes which are ether green or hazel and it said it was brown,then grey,then purple.

I think the app is ok, I’m proud of the developer of this APP, at least they are trying , so I commend them, to me the app works better in light, I do like the app
not quite right
the color given to me was completely off. unlike the advertisement, it only gives very basic colors.

Sadly inadequate
I would love this app to work, but it misses the mark. I suspect the main issue might be that the camera sees what’s there where as our brain applies filters to make sense of the world. It ‘knows’ by blue shorts are still blue in different lighting. The app doesn’t. Unless you can compensate for lighting and shadow etc I don’t think it’s going to get any better.
One thing that would help, tough, is a smaller (or resizable) ‘box’. It’s too big.

Took a picture of a orange ball to test this app and it said it was grey...
