Hello, Sorry to hear about your experience. Please make sure your Wi-Fi or cellular connection is stable and has enough network bandwidth as scan times are highly dependent on network health. Please write to us about the items that had incorrect identification via in-app mechanisms or via the contact form on our site, so Nest Egg Support can look into what you report.

Hello CDHORNET, Thank you for the feedback, and sorry to hear about your experience. Generally speaking, if you are adding items via barcodes and expecting automatic lookup to work, the barcodes have to be UPC/EAN. For other data such as serial numbers or URL Quick Response (QR) codes, there are quite a few possibilities in terms of barcode morphology. You can reach us via in-app mechanisms (preferred) or via our site at https://nestegg.cloud/contact with a few pictures showing what you scanned so we can troubleshoot this further. We look forward to hearing from you.

Actually grabs correct info from barcode!
The UI is also very nice with proper iPad UI. Maybe I'm just easy, but I was sold and paid for the upgraded version.

Sorry to hear about your experience. Lookup misses can occur because of online availability, specialty status, date of introduction and a host of other factors. Some items may have restricted distribution and are not widely available as a result. In any case, Nest Egg tries hard to get you the details within a reasonable period of time and reverts to manual entry thereafter. Would you be able to send to support a few of the EANs you scanned, so we can check on our end to make sure? Thanks in advance.
