Even better than the original
This is how you make a game for the iPad! Incredible graphics, great music score, and gameplay that is challenging every time you play it. Not really an improvement
Totally addicted to the original Sparkle, I had no hesitation buying Sparkle 2 - especially at the introductory price! However, I cannot agree that it is an improvement on the first game.
Orbs are larger, levels smaller in length and shorter in time. Challenge and Survival levels are included making this a very detailed game.
Graphics are excellent and, with the larger orbs, I would say this edition would be more suited to young children and would be an excellent hand/eye co-ordination game.
I would highly recommend buying both games but would ask the developers to make the next edition more challenging for adults.Show lessdiyslave

Excellent Update
A big leap forward in graphics from the original.
Agree with others that it does seem a bit too easy, but maybe that is because we have all reached Master level on the original.

Although I am not a great games fan I got this as a friend said how mush she enjoyed it. I agree it's not too hard and I enjoy the settings. I am sure other people will know much more about it but I just enjoy it's relaxing qualities.SUNNYLITTLEBEAR
Just buy this!
Sparkle 2 is a wonderful and addicting game that more than deserves to be added to your collection. With a full campaign with great graphics, wonderful music and voice acting, you would think they skimped on the gameplay. But no, in usual 10tons fashion this game is amazing. I couldn't put it down. Then after I beat the main game. There are other modes just begging me to play.

What an absolutely lovely rethinking!
The developers have taken the original Sparkle and reworked it to take advantage of newer iOS and iPad releases.
The colors are bright, the motion fluid, and the marbles are much larger (one of my few complaints with the original). The power-ups are better animated.
In short, if you like marble popper games in the Zuma/Sparkle vein, you should truly enjoy Sparkle2.Show lessEstoude01
Nicely constructed marble shooter!
While the gameplay is nothing particularly new, this is another example of 10Tons doing what they do best: taking an established formula and shining it to a mirror finish. Nice visuals, smooth action and a beautiful score. Be warned that, at present, the difficulty level is even more "casual" than the original, and experienced players will likely breeze through it.Show lessLemur-chan
Amazing!
I was obsessed with the first game and am already obsessed with this sequel. It's one of few games that has a sequel that equals the original in quality and quantity. It is slightly easier but I think that makes it more achievable for younger players which can only be seen as a plus. Ultimate best bit for me: NO IN GAME PURCHASES!!! Slightly disappointing
I love Sparkle and I spend lots of time in airports, so I was eager for this new game to pass the time. The graphics are truly gorgeous and gameplay very smooth. However, it is way too easy. The first Sparkle kept me occupied much longer before being able to beat it - this new game gives too many powerups so that it feels like there is no challenge at all. For 2.99, I'd like to see a game that takes more than a few hours to beat.Show lessHistoryGypsy
