Generally pretty good
I’ve been using this app for many years now. Fidelity as generally made very nice improvements over the years. It is a little annoying that they have inserted the options for their paid services, but they are running a business and will look to maximize their revenue at every opportunity 🤷🏼♂️
Besides that this is a pretty solid app.
Could be improved if all the features were native and not a browser shell. That is disappointing when compared to apps from other investment groups (i.e. Vanguard).

Fidelity is the best and listens to feedback!!
This app has seen significant improvements over the years, especially considering its humble beginnings where it just opened rudimentary webpages that often did not work well. They listened to feedback and integrated many functions so it’s now easier than ever to manage your workplace accounts directly from within this app. They still have a long road ahead to fully integrate all of the website functions into this app, but they have come so far from the start. The changes and improvements over the years are very noticeable and very much appreciated. You can do so many tasks and perform research and run simulations from with in this app, whereas years ago you couldn’t. It really is closer to a one stop shop for workplace accounts and even those you have chosen to link and display. Thanks for continuing to improve and making this app what it is today, new users have no idea how spoiled they actually are!

Probably one of the worst apps I’ve used…
For the fact that many Fidelity customers have a large part of their savings/investments in these accounts, it’s embarrassing how badly this app is developed and how glitchy it is.
Functional App Poor Design
The app works well and works as needed but is in desperate need of a design overhaul. Biggest problem, Why is it like 5 steps to view the available investments, and why do i need to pretend im going in there to change them when all i want to do is view them? I understand the importance of the prompt statements like “are you sure you want to change your investments” but this is just not designed well at all for mobile. Number 2, Why is there a plan tab that doesn’t let you actually plan for the account… Everything brings you to a separate webpage, shouldn't that be for actually being able to control the of the account and actually put the steps for a plan in motion for the account? Nothing beats the Learn tab in terms of pointlessness cause currently the Learn tab just displays some confabulatory metric with zero explanation, no reason for this to be here get rid of it and put the content under plan in there.

Best of All: Please read this vital information and don’t skip
I was impatient to carry out necessary research but I really wanted to jump on the crypto trading and investment buzz. Unfortunately for me, I invested 75,700 USD worth of bitcoin with a fraudulent company. I was happy to watch my account grow to 214,575 USD within a couple of weeks. But I didn't realize I was dealing with a scam company, until I tried to make an attempt to withdraw. I made a withdrawal request, and noticed my account was suddenly blocked for no apparent reason. I tried contacting customer support, but all to no avail. I needed my money back at all cost, because I could not afford to let it go. So I tried all possible means to make sure I recovered my scammed bitcoin. I did a lot of online search for help, and tried to see if there were other people who had any similar experience. I stumbled upon a cryptocurrency forum were a couple of people mentioned that they had been through the same process but were able to recover their lost cryptography funds with the help of So I filed a report on MarianDiana41 (at) Gmail and he was able to help me get back all my lost funds withing 2 weeks I feel indebted to him. Apart from trying to express my gratitude to them once again using this medium, I will recommend anybody who wants to recover scammed bitcoin, stolen cryptocurrency, funds lost to binary options forex, investment and any other form of online scam to reach out to MarianDiana41 (at)gmail

Just a web browser
The app manages to be worse than using just a regular web browser. You’re better off just opening their web site on Safari.
Poor performance
The performance problems need urgent attention. How hard can it be to fix? All other apps seem to be coping well
App does not function properly
I have tried to complete 2 rollovers using the app and both times have been a time-consuming mess. It asks for 2 documents to be uploaded to complete the rollover - the check and the signed deposit slip. Both times there were issues with someone on Fidelity’s side seeing the correctly completed deposit slip that I uploaded. For the second rollover no one could figure out what was wrong and I was asked to mail a paper copy of the deposit slip to a Fidelity PO Box, which I did. The reps I speak with still somehow have no way to connect the deposit slip I sent in to the image of the check of my pending rollover I already started. Really? This is not hard, or at least it shouldn’t be.

Lots of Bugs that Need to be Addressed!!!
Was forced to use this for work so it was not by choice. When using the app and when I invoke Siri the entire screen switches to white instead of just overlaying Siri. This is not expected behavior and needs to be fixed immediatly!
When loading the app it will sit there and spin for several min before I have to force quit the application just to get it to launch which takes a few seconds. So it’s getting stuck in the background of iOS instead of launching like normal and this needs to be fixed right away.
Slow to switch screens taking anywhere from 5-15 seconds to populate selections. With the latest iPhone 15 pro max and a 1gbit connection there is no need to have any of this, this needs to be fixed as well
