Thank you for your great comments. We will try our best to keep improving it. CameraFTP offers 3-day FREE trial. After 3 days, you can keep using it for free. But the cloud recording (storage) feature will be severely limited. Users can use a regular IP camera/NVR, or use Mobile Security Camera app, Webcam Security Camera app, or CameraFTP VSS software as IP camera. If you use our app/software as IP camera, you can save the cost of buying an IP camera; (Most IP cameras also don't include any storage space). Moreover, you can view your camera from anywhere, and it even supports 2-way video and audio calling. These features are FREE, perfect for monitoring a baby, elderly or pet.

I guess it only happened to an older version for a very short period of time. We have tested the Mobile Security Camera app very carefully. It can record video and image snapshots without any problems. Please note this app is NOT Required at all to use CameraFTP's Cloud Recording / Home & Business Monitoring services. Many users use real IP cameras and DVRs. They can configure IP camera / DVR to record footage to CameraFTP cloud. They can also use webcam as IP camera, or use PC as CCTV DVR system with CameraFTP VSS Software. By using this app as an IP camera that records to the cloud, you can save the cost of buying an IP camera. You can save even more if you use CameraFTP VSS software as a CCTV DVR system.
