Great way to learn

A mixture of things covered on the free part of the app, would recommend for beginners even if not children

Really Fun!

As an adult learner, I get a little bored and confused by the common language learning apps. This app is a lot of fun for an adult learner. I especially like how it does not give the English word so you are associating an image with the Spanish. There are a few technical problems where if you hit a special item the app crashes, and also you might accidentally click outside of the extra information. But overall the app works well. I will probably buy the full version.

Help! Can’t hear sound!

This app is actually five stars and my four-year-old daughter loves it. But I have somehow lost the ability to play sound which essentially makes the app useless. Can somebody please tell me how to fix this feature? I have also paid for the extra in-app levels but lost this feature when I tried to delete and re-download the app to fix the sound. Again it would be a five but the lack of sound is very frustrating! Waste of $5 at this point.

Better for 6-8 year olds

I got this app for my 4-year-old. He likes the flash cards and the first two games for each topic, but the third game is too hard for him because it goes too fast. He loses stars and gets upset. Aside from that it’s an ok app. The games are exactly the same for each topic, just with different vocabulary words. Eventually that part might get boring. Each flash card has a picture and the word. The words don’t help him since he can’t read yet, but it would be helpful for people who can read. He benefits from hearing each card read aloud and I ask him to repeat. It has also been good for him to practice words in English that he doesn’t know yet because we do it together and I tell him what it is in English. For example, he learned “wheelchair” and “walker” because he saw the pictures and when we played the games I told him what to pick using the English word. There are a few short videos related to a few topics but they’re not that great.

Would be great if there was sound!

Just downloaded this app and was looking forward to it. Unfortunately the sound doesn't work making it kind of useless. Please fix this bug, and I'll probably rate it 5 stars.

Lost my purchase?

This is a great app for my daughter AND myself! We've been having so much fun with the full version for $4.99!
Buuuuut.....
Now it wants me to pay the $4.99 again!
We've been playing the full version for a couple days, but now everything is locked again.
The price is fine, the app is great. But how many times will I have to pay it?!?

Love the app

It’s fun - I understand the speaker

Use earphones for sound to work / Greats for adults studying Spanish vocab

I’m an college student reviewing Spanish. This is a great app for refreshing or learning basic vocabulary. I think the problem with most other apps that attempt to teach you Spanish is that they teach by translating Spanish words, for example “libro” =“book.” What I love about this app is it just shows you a picture of “el libro” so you associate the spanish vocabulary word with the object or verb rather than the english translation. On top of all this, games are pretty fun—which can get repetitive because it all involves flash card matching, but the new vocab at each level makes it feel new.

The only thing is the sound doesn't work unless I use earphones. I use Bluetooth ear phones, so I’ll need to try it out with the regular plug-in ones.

Love this app

Love the app-request increase processing time during games

We tried out a bunch of different Spanish apps for my 4year old son and we both liked this one the best. The only frustrating part is the time limit in the games is too short for think time for him sometimes and he gets really frustrated when the answer is shown before he has had enough time to figure out the correct response.
