Used to be good

An app that went from free to a ridiculous price overnight. Looks like they “reset” their reviews trying to hide how disappointed people are with this app.

Skeptical at first, but now use it everyday

I'm always a bit skeptical about trying new software for the farm, but Bushel Farm is definitely really helpful for our family farm.

Easy to check rain and satellite imagery, and love the JD connection.

Love field mapping and the rainfall content. Helpful to determine where to work in the field, which saves a lot of time.

Forcing customers to pay for service after changing names

I’ve had farm logs for several years simply to monitor rainfall on food plots at our hunting property since I live 2.5 hours away from it. No charges and it was user friendly. Now all of a sudden there’s this change and I can’t access my previously selected fields or rainfall information without paying a fee for usage. There was no information that I’m aware of sent to me indicating this change especially now a payment for use. I don’t mind paying for services but being forced in this manner, NO THANKS. I’ll choose another option since I wasn’t important enough to be informed of the changes until I simply couldn’t access my account.

We understand change isn't always easy, but is sometimes necessary. Although we could have taken other paths to cover costs, like displaying third-party ads, we did not want to negatively impact our customers’ experience. Instead, we opted to provide the rainfall information at an economical price validated by thousands of Bushel Farm users. We did provide notice of this change several different ways, such as email and in app messages, but it's possible you missed those. What is once great but fell to greed

I’ve been using this app for years and years for free just to check rainfall at my house and business then they changed and now suddenly they want me to pay $79 a year just to see the rainfall amounts? Typical like so many other companies looking for a way to charge people for something that used to be free. Now I’ve lost my properties because I’m not paying for something I’ve been getting free for years. I found another app called Raindrop that’s just as accurate if not more accurate so thanks for nothing Bushel Farms.

Hello, it's not possible to see in the mobile stores, but we do have Add-Ons available in our web app. We created an Add-On for rain after hearing from users that they don't always need all the features included in our Essentials plan. The Rain and Heat History is $10/month through the FarmLogs web app. Recent rainfall and YTD rainfall totals are still included in the free plan, FarmLogs Lite. You can read more about all the options here: farmlogs.com/pricing. It’s necessary to charge for our services so we can continue to provide and improve them, but we understand the new plans may not work for everyone.

At Bushel, we can appreciate that change isn’t always welcome or easy, and yet we also acknowledge that it is sometimes necessary. While we were able to maintain a free rainfall offering for over 10 years, that model was no longer sustainable due to rising costs associated with development, maintenance, and support. Although we could have taken other paths to cover our costs, like displaying third-party ads inside the app, we did not want to do anything that may negatively impact our customers’ experience. Instead, we opted to provide the rainfall information at an economical price validated by thousands of Bushel Farm users. We never want to disappoint any of our users, and yet we also know that the new Basic Rainfall plan may not be the right fit for everyone. Used to be great

I don’t even remember what the original version was called but I had it for the last 5 years, it was always reliable, now since it’s been changed to bushel barn there has been numerous changes and not for the better, the latest change is charging for app use, I don’t see an option to run it with ads or I would.

Bushel is committed to a positive user experience and we know that FarmLogs was highly regarded for its rainfall accuracy, so we have not made any adjustments to rainfall reporting.
