There are many breeds that are not included. You cannot storage names to keep track of them

I found this to be a great resource but there are a couple improvements that could make it even better
1. Have the ability to save entries so you can track weight over a period of time for one or more horses. The lack of ability to record measurements over time for a paid app is why I deducted two stars from my review.
2. My horse is a mix of several breeds so I’m unsure which breed to use when determining his weight. I realize that it’s impossible to have all mixes listed, but perhaps some suggestion on which breed to select would be helpful

App enhancement
Wish you could store horses weights and names for future reference!
EXTREMELY Innacurare
This app so far is completely useless. While it has a great design and suggests the appropriate measurements for weight calculation, the calculation calibration is extremely far off. Calculated a 13.2hh pony that we already knew was 800 pounds, the app said pony was 360 lbs! Additionally we tried it on our 1100lb friesian mare, the app said she was 477 pounds. Ridiculous. A waste of $1.99. The app developers really need to update the system before this is worthy of being in the App Store.

Not worth the money.
All this does is calculate the weight of your horse which you can do for free. Latest version works great.
I was told this helped with scoring and body condition but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Good for stock or Arabians due to their unique body features by imputing more data - so more accurate measurements.
No diagrams on body conditioning or ideal weights.
Good start but lots of room for improvement for a paid app. 😩

Incorrect
Tried this with both my horses & the calculations were not a good representation of my horses' weight. Sure wouldn't plan a feed program according to this. Am going to delete the app

This app by UofM is very helpful and makes calculating your horses weight much easier!! A must download.

You should include instructions on where to measure the girth and the neck. Also, should the length be measured from mid chest to point of buttock or to mid-tail?
