You are considered self-employed. Taxes Suck calculates Self-Employment tax (i.e., SS & Medicare); It’s added to Federal Tax. If you are self-employed, you pay federal income tax & self-employment tax with your federal estimated taxes. It all goes together, and Taxes Suck calculates it. I use Taxes Suck every month for my wife’s photography business, and it calculates 100% correctly. Tap on “See Details” for a breakdown. Yes, you should pay estimates quarterly. Taxes Suck is excellent for estimating what you currently owe. Input your Net Income in the self-employment section and use the “Tax Withholding” section to put what you have paid in estimates for the year. This should give you what you currently owe in federal & state. This will include your self-employment taxes (i.e., SS & Medicare). Thanks for using Taxes Suck. I appreciate it!OUTSTANDING TAX AP!
