Great Concept, Encouraging Progress
UPDATED: Keet is a solid chat app with core functionality and minor bugs. The Holepunch team has done fantastic work getting this out there. Software development is always slower than anyone wants if we are honest but this work is encouraging. Excited to see the future of this app.
To make this a 5 star I’m really looking to be able to replace other chat apps:
- DM support (added in November!)
- Auto-deleting/expiring messages (content retention policy)
Notifications I expect will continue to improve with improvements to blind forwarding peers.
Otherwise, great work! Much improvement has been made since early alphas!
