It’s 1967, I’m cruising down Saginaw Street in my ‘64 Corvair, girl friend at my side, and the radio blasting the best music ever recorded. Yes, I’m biased. This app, and it’s related website Keener13.net, really bring to life my memories of one of the fondest aspects of growing up in Detroit in the 1960s and 70s. WKNR occupies a special place in the hearts of those who listened to Top 40 radio in those days.
