  • Major Features Removed in 2.0

Major features were added however some of the most useful features were removed with no alternative available.
Example: There is no way to hide a layer. This feature was integral in my design flow and now it is gone.
  • V2 Release is a Major Regression

The iPad app was almost at feature parity with the desktop version. With the most recent v2 release supporting their new F1 Ultra device, they completely reworked the UI, cluttered with nameless icon buttons with no tool tips, forcing you to trial and error your way through things. It now takes three or four clicks to make settings changes where it used to take one or two. Worse, we lost marking completely. Now we’re forced to just muddle through the old way of nudging our objects or materials around running and re-running framing until dialed in. Such a time waste. This “easy panel” thing is collapsed/hidden by default which just adds to the confusion. I yearn for the cleaner, simpler, yet functional UI from the prior version. This should not have been released without MUCH more community testing and input.
  • You just made this so bad, I don’t have words

Let’s be honest, this was a barely usable software before, but now however, it’s completely destroyed. Any old file before this update is now completely useless. Everything is either corrupted or has completely lost all the layers. The settings are now setup up perfectly for a child that eats glue. They added nothing accept rearranging things that were already terrible. Communication with the actual device has now gotten so hard, I could contact a “Tech support” agent in India easier than connecting to my laser. I’m begging to know who the software engineer on this update is. Has he ever used a computer? Is he living in a cage in Iraq? Please, for the love of god, how did you make this so much worse?
  • Latest Update

The most recent update is ridiculously incompatible with use on an IPAD. I’m getting a laptop and then dumping your software completely.
  • New update review

The new update seems to make it slightly faster to engraving and it will be a learning curve but I like the use of the preview so it can be easier to follow.

Issue: clicking the side button that was used for framing the last time just does endless rotation and doesn’t frame anymore. You have to push the frame button on the screen.I am also not a fan of the new way to set up the setting for engraving. They changed it around and I have to hunt for the inns.
  • Good attempt but not there yet

Don’t bother with the android version, its nowhere near the PC one. Now on the IPad you will get the closest to the PC version as you can get but there are limitations. First don’t expect to use a connected physical keyboard to do anything more than type. For example moving objects using arrow keys, undo etc. They will not work. So you have to rely on your steady fingers when moving stuff. Also the tracing algorithm is not very intuitive compare to something like Lightburn. Even the simplest three color images it has a problem with.

Maybe in the following updates this will get better but i find myself having to edit certain things in lightburn then bringing it over to Creative space. Hope this changes soon.
  • Needs improvement

Would be great if the app would have the option to export as an svg.
  • It just hangs

I use a very simple object that has literally only five pieces of geometry. The render said it would take less than a minute, and five minutes later, it’s simply doing nothing. Dates, no indicators, just nothing. I see lots of high reviews, but it’s hard to imagine how that can be! I’m using an updated iPad Air five. Plenty of processing power for such a simple design.
  • Last update….

Since the latest update, the app is responding more slowly and the Outline Framing is not working. It was working great before….
  • Just finished my first project

    S1 40W - 10 mins & 39 seconds and holy smokes… this thing rules.
