EXPLORE and COLLECT - ROAM helps you to collect valuable drops out in the real world. - What is a drop you might ask? Well, it could simply be free stuff from your favorite brands. Or exclusive access to products or events. It could be a song download from that band everyone is talking about or tickets to their upcoming show. A drop can be lots of things, and it’s usually location-based for a reason! The fun part is, you don’t really know what’s inside until you collect it. - So now that you know what DROPS are, you should feel good about going after one on the ROAM map. Tap the icon, then click the ‘Start’ button and navigate the highlighted path to the marked location. And by navigate we mean, walk, bike, or drive (even fly?). That's right: you must physically go to the actual drop to see what’s inside of it. - Because many drops hold exclusive content, time is of the essence. Don’t miss out on limited releases that expire. Once you see a drop that peaks your interest, you should probably get roaming. - Please be smart out there. Look both ways at crosswalks so you don’t get hit by a car. Or a bike. Or another Roamer. It’s simple: don’t be dumb. Be smart. Have fun. AUGMENTED REALITY FOR THE WIN - When you get close to your selected drop, ROAM will switch to camera mode and allow you to collect the drop with the help of Augmented Reality. It's kinda like that fun game where you capture those cute pocket monsters, but different. - When you see the AR marker, approach it (in awe because it's magical) and tap on it to see what’s inside. ROAMCOIN - All collected drops come with the bonus of RoamCoin. - RoamCoin is an in-app currency that can be saved and used in the Roam Marketplace to purchase real world goods. Cool stuff like Amazon gift cards, Chipotle burritos, PS5’s, concert tickets and more. The more drops you collect, the more RoamCoin you bank. -RoamCoin is only for use in the ROAM app and can’t be used in the real world…yet.
