Just got my violin so I didn’t know the acoustic difference between it being tuned or untuned, but after I used this app it sounded sooo much better.

It took me a few tries to appreciate the full ranges of options available, but once I realized it is a tone generator; an extremely accurate chromatic tuner (focussed upon violin string pitch and giving the exact frequency of the chosen string); a very clear display (even from a distance; and also a metronome… I was quite impressed.
There are options to change language and to change reference tuning as well. Very sophisticated. A simple and very useable package of tools.Show lessmichaelbix_mcb

This is the most awesome tuning app I have ever downloaded. You see, I am an 11 year old and has been playing violin for several years yet never new how to tune, but this app changed that by telling me which peg to turn! I am a violinist, and this Tuner has it all! I like that I can adjust the A down for Baroque music, and then back up to 440, with ease. Additionally, although I usually don’t use a metronome, I am now working on the violin solo for the Bach aria, Erbarme Dich, and the rhythms are very, very complex.. The ease with which I can use the metronome and adjust the beat as I learn the piece, is amazing.Show lessRoger's living room
