Great Game, Great Mechanics
This game is a huge improvement to the first. The diplomacy/research mechanics are great as well as the better graphics. My go to WW2 game!The Ace209

A complete downgrade from its predecessor
The freemium model destroyed my favorite series. Reinforcements are monetized and research stops by the time you reach 1940. as the Allies, you can steamroll Germany by allying every country. Diplomacy is run by AI communism where they take but never give… frequently. Historical is not historical. Ahistorical works the same way. Game freezes by 1942 frequently, I left it on for a few hours because I had nothing better to do. It was still frozen trying to calculate the Hungarian world conquest. I force closed the app and the troops I bought got sent to the shadow realm and if the dev‘s poorly designed game can pass a turn without freezing or crashing, I get my troops back. This actually happens frequently but was never addressed. Customer service is nonexistent and you can’t find the button in game. You have a better chance writing an email to someone who tried to rob you and get an apology or your money back.
Paratroop infantry are monetized or locked behind ads with barely function. I got Asia from a daily reward but can’t play it. Some Chinese warlords lack unique flags and that leads to confusion. This game would have been better sold as a premium product without all of those microtransactions. Instead, I’m given a broken product.Show lessMillwork1075

Minor Fixes
I love the game and waited for this version to come out on the newer supported iOS systems, but there seems to be a pretty big bug that starts later in the game if you go through 2/3 years of gameplay you’ll notice you’re no longer able to research things that you should be. After that you’ll notice the rounds start glitching after ending them, getting stuck on a random country’s turn. Finally, and this will most likely make you stop playing the save file; your reinforcements stop spawning, essentially wasting your resources buying troops that won’t spawn as the turn glitches upon ending it. Amazing game but like the title states it needs some minor polishing.Show lessPidoras Pidorasky
