Several Issues with Photon
Does not keep Imperial settings, constantly reverting to metric (Photon display shows Imperial though). Various data elements do not work correctly.coxpaul

Please fix wheel size setting for Photon
App works ok apart from some service disconnects even when I am very close to the bike. My biggest issue is the inability to set the wheel size on a new CYC Photon motor that I just installed. You can change the wheel size in the app and save it. However if the motor is turned off and back on, it reverts to the 27.5 size which is incorrect for my bike. This is used to compute your speed and with the wrong wheel size setting, the speed value will be incorrect.Vulchan
Major problems with app and motor. X1 Pro Gen 3, X6
I bought the CYC Pro Gen 3 with the x6 controller and a 750c display. The first motor was faulty and had to be replaced under warranty within one month/50miles. The problem was a weird ratcheting, shaking and loss of power. I did not get a chance to test the CYC app on the initial motor, but i am having problems on the replacement motor/controller with the app. The problems that the app has been having are: 1) The power adjustments and top speed limiter in the app, for either Street or Race mode are not taking effect. I can change between street or race on the screen only, not in the app; the change will not impact the power levels of the motor or the top speed limiter. 2) stuck In race mode. I essentially only have race mode all the time, even when the bike display is in street. 3) the speed number in the app is always in kilometers KPH besides saying MPH beside it. 4) The human power indicator is not working (it always reads zero).
In general, I had really high expectations of CYC, the X1 Pro and the CYC app, but I have had some major disappointments. I do love the motor’s power output, but I can’t in good conscience recommend the CYC app or CYC at this point.RickyRoosterdog
X1 Pro Gen 2 / X-6 controller
Currently Feb 15, 23: Still waiting for compatibility for the Gen 2 - all motors that do have compatibility with the app are the x1 stealth gen 1 & 3 - and the X1 pro Gen 3. Currently, I’ve been able to tune my Gen2 Pro with Gen 3 settings, but this doesn’t work properly as u find myself having the power jump on and off at times and un able to tune just how much throttle I want and how responsive levels 3-4 are of assist. I also can’t seem to have the settings change for race and street mode. Please, if possible notify my account when these updates eventually come in. I’ve been told to expect them on the 3rd quarter of January. I’ve also burnt out my battery’s fuse because the current demand from the controller to the battery is to much for the 50e cells.
The motor itself if phenomenal and I couldn’t be happier with the quality cyc motor has put out; but in order to reach this products full potential it’s all up to the programming and tuning of this controller to get there.I'm typing something random

Received my new X1 Stealth Gen 3 at the end of January. This app works flawlessly for me. I’m able to setup the motor to my liking.RickYngbld
Issues with this first version
New app looks great! Connected easily. Ran the throttle wizard carful to follow the directions and have the pas set to 0. As soon as the wizard was complete I switched to pass1 and the bike throttled up on its own. I ran a rest to factory from the general page and saved. Now the throttle and pas systems do not work at all. Seems like there is a bug in this version. Please be carful, if I knew this could be the result I would have stayed with the stock programming. I’ve contacted Cyc for help. They are usually very amazing with support. I will update as soon as there is a change.
I have several other cyc kits and they are all great. This is the first with the new x6 controller that I am having the issue with.DougBott001
