All Versions of Please Don't Rain
3.2

# iPad Support
I’m so happy to announce that the app supports iPad now!
# Misc
* The hourly chart will display a message if there is technically rain predicted for the day, but it’s too little to show an hourly chart for.
* Got rid of extra navigation arrows throughout the forecast that were used for changing days. Gesture support made these unnecessary. If you prefer having them visible they can be restored with Settings, App Appearance, Show Extra Arrows.
# Bug Fixes
* VoiceOver was not reading the weekday in Nearby Days.
* VoiceOver would say “brightness higher” for a sun symbol.
* VoiceOver was reading the name of the stop symbol graphic instead of an appropriate label for the stop symbol at the bottom of the forecast.
* If background colors were turned off then dark mode didn’t have shadows around groups of content in the forecast. Thanks to David from my accessibility lab for pointing this out!

# Landscape
The app now supports landscape mode! After I recently learned that not supporting landscape could be an accessibility issue I made it a priority to get it done. Apologies if only supporting portrait mode caused issues for anyone.
# New Theme
The newest theme drawn by my sister is “Stained Glass (Drawn)”.

# Hourly Forecast
* Added a new “Hourly Forecast” section that lets you easily glance at details for the day in question. (Pro Required)
* If you perform a tap gesture on a day in the “Nearby Days” section it will display details about that day. The new Hourly Forecast section for that day will also be shown now.
# New Theme
The newest theme drawn by my sister is “Brush Strokes”.
# Accessibility
* The “Nearby Days” section has been marked as a container to accessibility, meaning the label for it will be read by VoiceOver when you first access a part of it.
(Version 2.38 makes some minor UI adjustments to the Hourly Forecast.)

# Gesture Support
For quite a while you’ve been able to use left and right arrows to change the day you’re tracking to another day. Now you can do the same thing with a left or right swipe!
If you don’t want this ability to be enabled you can disable it in Settings, General, Gestures.
# Misc
* Made some changes to the large version of the basic widget so that larger text could be used.
* Updated developer contact info.
(Version 2.36 updates the "What's New" section.)

# UI Updates For The Current Day
There are some nice enhancements to the Pro version when the day you’re tracking becomes today.
* The current temperature is now prominently displayed near the top of the forecast.
* The Feels Like temperature has been moved with it.
* There is now a toggle that lets you switch between showing statistics for the day (default) or the hour.
* Some statistics, such as the high and low temperatures, will continue to show data for the day no matter what.
# New Theme
The newest theme drawn my sister is “Spring Flowers”.

# Grayscale Weather Images
The app already gives you the option to not use color weather symbols. How about grayscale weather images also? Find this new option under Settings, Weather Image Details, Color Weather Images.
Thanks to Lickability for the idea to offer black and white images.
# New Theme Drawn By My Sister
Pastel is our newest theme.
# Super Serious Mode
Added a visual indicator that gives a better idea of what happens when Super Serious mode is on or off. The setting is under Settings, Weather Image Details, Super Serious Mode.
# Privacy
Updated the app’s privacy manifest for an upcoming requirement.
# Bug Fixes
* You can increase the number of days that are shown in the Nearby Days section. If you are tracking today then you are able to see very limited data about the day that is nine days away. However, you weren’t able to see that day in Nearby Days. Fixed this problem by increasing the maximum number of days before and after your tracked day to 9. Find this new option under Settings, App Appearance, Nearby Days.
* German users could have an issue with choosing one of the newer themes because internally a filename would conflict with older images.
* If your tracked day ends and then a very long time later you then chose to track the same location the very old data would be used instead of retrieving the latest forecast.

# Accessibility
* ColorPickers – Last year there was a problem where ColorPickers would ignore any accessibility labels, hints, etc that were attached to them. That is no longer the case so I am removing the workaround that I implemented. A benefit of doing this is instead of VoiceOver saying a generic phrase such as “Top Background Color” it can now add detail with a phrase such as “Top Background Color, cyan”.
* Symbol Size – I realized that symbols in the Settings and More tabs remained a fixed size even if the user had made text a much larger size. Now the symbols will grow in size as the text size increases and will also adjust appropriately to make more room when needed.
# New Themes
New themes drawn by my sister.
* Bunnies
* Weather Folk
* Weather Wheels
# Widgets
* Added a LOT more themes for widgets. Check them out! Access them from Settings, Widgets/Sharing, Built-In Themes.
* Like background colors for the app, you now can just use a single background color if you are picking widget colors instead of using a built-in theme.
