Grossly Addicting and Engagingly Thrilling
Big Tomb Raider fan here. Played all the games from console to PC to mobile. Finally got around to trying this one out through Netflix (uh can y’all get this service on Xbox already?) and I’m having a blast. You go through the levels fairly quick and it’s fun to level up as you go, getting stronger everytime. (No chocolate bars this time around unfortunately). Even if you lose you still win because you get to upgrade Lara after every game to make it easier every time. Like a real game ya know? If I had to give a con it’d just be how it hooks you with free rewards, quick pace, and the amount of menus you must click through should you want to maximize your rewards.
Lore wise it’s pretty faithful with a beautiful nostalgic score and returning characters from the franchise like Von Croy, Amaya, and I believe Kurtis (haven’t gotten that far yet). This might be unrelated dunno if they see these but hey Crystal? Can we get these ole boys and girls back for the rebooted game pretty please 😁 Excited for the upcoming unification!

No more levels
Finished up to the Egyptian Desert 6 months ago and the new levels still aren’t available. Disappointed.
Fun while it lasted, but….
Like many other reviews below, I’ve reached the Loading screen of death upon opening the app that won’t go above 48%. At least I know I’m not alone, but I really was getting so much joy out of playing this game, I now have gamer blue ballz knowing that I won’t be playing it anymore. I refuse to “reload” this app and start from scratch. Probably for the best considering I now need Tomb Raider rehab thanks to how addictive this game was.
If you decide to play this game, make sure you set it up in a way that allows you to not lose your stats if you have to delete and reinstall the app.
Developers, why have you forsaken us?! Netflix, please do something :(

Logged on after an entire day and all my special event tickets were gone it said 0/30 but I was at full + I had tons extra that u gain from normal dungeon raids. Also the weekly free crate disappeared from the store when I first started playing and I never got to claim it and it still isn’t back. And it isn’t recording that I’ve logged in for 3 days so far so I can’t claim my reward for the daily thing.
In conclusion can u guys PLEASE FIX THIS!??? Thanks. Otherwise the game is really fun 🥲

i like this game, but there have been no meaningful updates for ages. it’s become routine.
Buggy mess
Such a fun little game but it’s a hot pile of garbage. Constant crashes and bugs. And judging from the other reviews a year ago, it’s always been the case. Looks like the just got the payday from Netflix and took off. Devs take pride in your work and at least make it playable.

The game itself is really fun. It is a bit grindy but that’s not a big deal. However, a word of caution to anyone that is playing using their Netflix account. I had mine synced to a secondary account on our Netflix account and on a lark thought “I don’t need this profile on the Netflix app because we only watch on the main one” so I deleted it. I didn’t realize the magnitude of my mistake until I opened the Tomb Raider app to play and it said there was a network error. It was then I realized what I’d done. The most unfortunate thing about it is that I inadvertently deleted my game data that I had work over a year on achieving and now I’m having to start back over from square one. DO NOT DO WHAT I DID. You’ll never recover. I’m extremely annoyed that Netflix doesn’t have any backups or logins or anything else that could mitigate this type of error for its players.
