  • Its a bit buggy but good story

This game is a bit buggy sometimes, the actual gameplay is a bit annoying sometimes since once you place that six characters you want to battle you can’t switch then out, you have to go to a level that has a spot open due to the map arrangement, also some of the character’s charged attacks don't work at all, this quite unfortunate because in some levels the charge attacks would be really helpful. This is my only complaint with the game. The overall story and character a really great, no complaints there. I do love the character design and the story is pretty good too. If you don't mind some of the bugs then this game is pretty great. I downloaded this game when its came out and I usually like to play the game for awhile so get the overall feel of it before I review it, so i excuse some these bug thinking they’ll eventually fix them later but so far they haven’t. I hope that the devs do fix some of these problems tho

  • Horrible Game

this game is very p2p and the team never listens to f2p players. they backtrack on things that upset the p2p players, addressing it right away, but don’t even address anything that has to do with f2p players. it takes a ridiculously long time to get the 2 valuable gacha currencies (solomon seals and red keys) if you don’t pay money. they have horrible communication skills and lack addressing the underlying problems of the game and try solving these problems with short term fixes like adding a red key shop when they took away the ability to get 10 pulls a day with the previous pancake shop. it’s also not very beginner friendly as it takes a long time to farm solomon’s tears in the beginning and for some players this problem continues. players have been boycotting this game for almost the whole month and they have tons of comments and emails addressing the f2p problems and still have not said a word about it. overall it’s a game with many problems that i can’t see myself spending more money on until they fix a lot. how do you manage to upset f2p players and p2p players?

  • F2P purge

I've played this game since launch, and in spite of the rough launch back in October 2023, the bad press going around social medias, the negative feedbacks, and censorships, I've stuck around because I hoped there was a chance for free to play players to have a chance with the game. In their July update, they revamped one of the exchange shops and basically locked all premium currency behind a paywall which makes it more difficult for F2P to have a chance at their gacha pools. F2P fans all over the world find this unfair, and have been giving some good suggestions to at least make it manageable for everyone, but the developers ignored. Moreover, it's been over 6 months at the time of this review that they haven't released any new main story when stated they would within 3 months period, yet no new story content has been added, yet they're feeding us paid content instead. I'm glad that I haven't dropped a penny into WHB because I was waiting for them to be more reasonable, and fair to their loyal fans, but it seems I no longer need to wait anymore and invest on other games.

  • I love this game, however lately it’s been getting only pay to win

I love this game, I love the characters and all of their unique designs and personality’s, the story is really interesting. The battles are really annoying however, they take forever and you have to do a lot of them before reading another part of the story. Since the 30 red keys were removed from the pancake shop it’s pretty much pay to win now which is really annoying because keys are hard to get. I love the art styles of the game for the L cards and the story. However whenever a new card comes out you have to use Solomon seals to get it and Solomon seals are even harder to get than keys and you basically have to pay for Solomon seals if you really want the character (and it’s expensive for just a few Solomon seals) they are usually added to the normal pool 3 months after being released as Solomon seals so it takes quite a while. I love this game, just wish keys and other items were easier to get without paying.

  • Just a money grab

I had such high hopes for this game but, sadly, I’m finally dropping it. I’ve been playing since launch and patiently endured all the crashes, bugs, censorship and other things that it’s had to overcome in the past year. However, as time went on, it became more than apparent that this company is just greedy and doesn’t care about its players at all. They keep introducing new currencies (some of which you have to pay a lot of real money for), taking away what little freebies we have or changing them to ones that are almost completely useless, and hiding just about everything good or new behind an expensive paywall. The translations are terrible, the storylines are getting repetitive, they keep making it harder to grind chapter levels for materials, and there’s always like 99 levels on each chapter with 85 of them being battles you have to get past. It’s just not worth it to play anymore.

  • Only good if you pay

As someone who played ever since game’s release, I found the plot a little too erotic. I expected some small bonding from each love interest but the love interest straight up SAs and grapes you, and the Mc likes it? The plot in my opinion could’ve been better if they calm it down on all the fan service and save it to actual bonding of the characters and focus on the plot and lore more. The gameplay is quite good and the navigation around the home menu is similar to another gacha game some of this makes it lose its appeal. Not to mention how straight up expensive the game is just to get certain cards of your favorite characters I’m not paying more than 50$ for a game and it’s extremely hard to level up your units with very little rewards they give they mainly gift stamina, gold, or exp for characters which is something you can get rich off very easily.

  • Love the spice, but all the battles kill me

Let me start by saying this is my favorite otome and I’ve played a lot. I’m also going to say that most of the bugs from the beginning have been worked out. A lot of games have issues when they first drop. I love all the spice in this game. For once a 17+ game lives up to its rating and I love how all the characters are so unique and there are so many. That being said, the battles are looooog and it takes sooooo many to get to a chapter and then you don’t get much before you have more battles. It makes me crazy. I get frustrated and then I want to stop playing. I take a break and come back after a couple weeks. I have seen people complain about having to spend money. I have, but you don’t necessarily have to. There are lots of ways to earn the game’s money by completely daily tasks. You can even buy something free in the shop everyday to complete the daily buy a shop item. For some special things you do have to spend money, but that’s how every game is. Special bonus’ and gatchas are never free. That being said, the spice is the best part and getting that is free, you just have play and be patient doing all the battles.

  • Only the art is carrying the game

Game features are fun for the first two weeks, but it's starting to feel like a daily chore, and it gets rather boring. Most new character(s) are paid, until they're off the promotion period and then goes into the regular pool, then there's a few characters locked under payment only. As an added note, do I really want to read other people's opinions about the character and what they want to do with their fictional man? 😒

My biggest complaint is reading the mangas because the text is as tiny as a speck of dust on an iphone. Also, the texting and chat speed is so fast, that I'm given the respond choices before I'm even done reading (especially daily text messages). Maybe keep it where tapping to continue to next dialogue is better as everyone has different reading speed.

All in all, I think the only reason I'm sticking around is because of the beautiful art, and the fact that we don't get a lot of R18 games for women. I hope at least the battles will be reworked to make it more fun in the future.

  • It’s cool but..

I like the game a lot but I feel like we don’t need to be doing 5 battle rounds just for us to get part of the story than do 5 more battle rounds. But I’m only on chapter 1 so maybe it’s different for the other chapters but if they do keep making us do a lot of battle rounds then I would like it if we can put the speed higher than 2x or maybe have a button that says “skip” if you have the right strength to easily kill all the angels and just skip than having to sit there attacking them for 2 minutes. Just an idea tho cus u find it kinda a hassle doing 5 rounds of battling, it becomes boring and I end up not wanting to finish the rest of the game and abandon it. But maybe I’m wrong and there is a skip button because I feel like they should atleast have one. But besides that its a really nice game.

  • Bugs in the new event

I don’t know if I’m the only one that it’s happening to but the new event has been glitching for me a while now mainly the dungeon it doesn’t give me my victory at all and doesn’t let me progress from any of the pass stages I’m hoping they fix this because I really do enjoy the game..(edited) i tried again still doesn’t work and for some reason it does work for my friends idk if it’s mine glitching or if it’s a problem in general at this point but I’m starting to get frustrated since I can’t advance whatsoever and to add to that the text messages don’t work at times either like it shows that I got a text but then it kicks me out of the game when I click on it and it says I can’t access it I genuinely don’t know what’s going on but as I started I do hope they fix it cause I want to finish the event that’s going on since I was genuinely dumb enough to spend money to get Gabriel’s card and now I’m worried I won’t be able to get it because of this bug that’s going on :(
