Overall very good.
Very effective for what I was looking for. Excited to see what new features will be added. The email report is nice and worth the small price for a membership. Would definitely recommend.gldndeal

Thank you for your positive review! We hold monthly user group meetings of users to listen to what they like or dislike with the app to improve it. The report you mention is a very powerful part of the app! The summary data can be very useful and the detailed spreadsheet of every single bottle allows users to analyze their collections in an unlimited number of ways.Not ideal for large (greater than 99) collections
Prompted for donation or upgrade to premium. Ok with paying developers, but premium implies it will inventory only up to 99 open/new bottles. I have well over that so it’ll be a huge time waste to log bottles and show inventory entire collection.
Also, when showing a “group” of the same distilled spirit please show something (retailer, notes) in the columns to help distinguish one from another.Show lessOmaColt

OmaColt, The Whiskey Shelf app is always free with an unlimited number of bottles allowed to be entered. We have over 4,000 worldwide users with over 60% having more than 100 bottles entered and two users with over 800 bottles entered - all for free. Please check out the app - you will never hit any bottle limits with the free app.Deleted and started looking elsewhere.
Limited functionality at best. Your inventory list will disappear shortly unless you buy the premium access. Only part I enjoyed was the wishlist feature. Mostly a waste of my time sadly. Really seems like a bait and switch situation.RCinTenn

RCinTenn, There is nothing in the app which will affect your inventory if you use the free app. We have thousands of free users worldwide using Whiskey Shelf and the premium access is not required nor will it limit the number of bottles you can enter. I was looking for an app to keep track of our bourbon inventory and this is perfect. It also has a lot of additional features that I haven’t got to use just yet, tasting and whatnot but so far very nice!!hallsbends

This is a wonderful new whiskey app! Functions well and has a hood inventory and info in it! Really impressed for a first version…. Looking forward to new updates as they come!kirk ict
Terrible sign up process - abandoned
The signup process should be used as an example of how to annoy and frustrate users.
Overly complex password requirements, field validation several pages in, cryptic error messages.
I tried for nearly 15 minutes to navigate the process and gave up.
A few tips:
1) offer social signin / signup so you can do away with that horrendous password process
2) put all fields that need to be validated on one page
3) there are actually places outside of the USA and Samoa (e.g. Australia) - perhaps add ‘other’ to your dropdown list if you are not going to use a standard library of locations.
4) get a real human to test usability

Matt10006, we received this feedback from yourself and 2 other Whiskey Shelf users and quickly implemented that capability for you! With version 1.1.2 released on 5/15, you can now edit your infinity bottle size. Please keep submitting improvement ideas through the App menu. We are listening every day and releasing new versions on Mondays to address any user concerns.Great Start
