Reviews of DevPad

  • Great app love it for real

    Juju
  • App is perfect!

Thoughts on the developer saying he isn’t aiming to replace any text editors; this app feels like a native text editor for mobile. All it needs is ssh and a compiler plus minor ui adjustments. Also if this was integrated into Siri shortcuts in anyway or most importantly to get compiled results it would be a platinum tier app

    Developer Response

Thank you for the feedback, DevPad it's a native text editor per se, but the main purpose for this app is to be a scratchpad where to make some text transformation. Even I agree it will be cool to have an ssh and compiler, it's not so immediate to do it on iOS and it is still not the main purpose of this app. I like the idea about Siri, I'll work on it
  • A Huge Timesaver

This is a must-have for developers but also has useful text transformations for everyday use. As the description says, this isn’t a text editor, it’s a scratchpad where you can import/paste text, use whatever tool(s) you need and then export/copy the updated text. Saves so much time having the tools in one place. Syntax-highlighting is supported for a large number of file formats making it easy to read large, unformatted text blocks. The developer is very responsive.
