  • Happy it’s finally here, BUT…..

I was excited for this app to come out but it feels rushed. It crashes and sometimes doesn’t fully start.
  • Avoid

Not even worth downloading. I’ve had this app since release and have yet to be able to play a single game. The website is great but the app clearly needs loads of work.
  • Game has obvious play defects

The app needs some polish. Game pieces do not display where they are placed on the board. Currently all placed pieces appear 2-3 above actual placement. Rough.
  • Decent iPad implementation but can’t join room

Glad to see native implementation on iOS, but can’t seem to join a private room given the link. You can create a room but can’t join one. Please fix!
  • Great app

    Runs like on the computer
  • Lack of loading

Won’t load 4 player ranked game on ios
  • Glad it’s finally on mobile!

I love there is an actual app now and it beats using the browser, I saw no bugs and connection was perfect. However, the UI is not suited for mobile devices. It was passable on iPad, but trading was especially difficult on my phone and lead to some misclicks. The thin bar on the bottom doesn’t work and I would much prefer trading and building on the side of the screen (possibly a compressed player info section would make chat more readable as well).

  • Best website, worst app

Just throwing a one star out to motivate you to fix the app. It was so visually broken I had to leave my ranked game. Will download again in the future and if it’s fixed I’ll update my rating.
  • How do you sent messages????

How do you sent message theres no enter button.
  • Game is woefully unbalanced

While I love these alternative to Catan, the board and the dice are completely unbalanced. They give you stats to even look at rolls and I have had MANY games where the consistency in rolls are way off and totally favor one player for 7s or the board is completely unbalanced. When you have a board with four brick tiles and one is a 5 and the others are 2, 11, and 12. The player locking in the 5 brick in one on one will always win and have a significant advantage. While Catan is fun, Colonist is the unbalanced version of this game based more on luck than skill.
